WITNESSES. INVENTOH A TORNEYS.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
GEORGE B. GIFFORD, ()l ALBANY, HE\\' YORK.
DESIGN FOR A BAKING-PAN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,754, dated August 2, 1892.
Application filed July 9, 1892. Serial No. 439,534. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE B. GIFFORD, a citizen of the United States, residing at Albany, in the county of Albany and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Baking-Pan, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming a portion thereof.
The accompanying drawing represents a perspective view of the baking-pan, having its outlines finished in conformity with my design.
The body portion Aof the pan is given an essentially rectangular contour and the top has the appearance of being closed. A short distancefrom the top the body is ornamented by a rib 10,and a panel 11 appears at theside of the body, the panel being of a polygonal shape and of greaterlength than width. The
center of the panel has a depressed appearance, while the side edges are apparently beveled outwardly, and at the corners of the panel floral figures 12 are represented. The panel is located between the rib 10 of the body and a marginal rib 11, which forms the upper ornamental portion of a base B, the sidewalls of the said base appearing inclined from the top downward and inward, whereby the base is to allappcarances wider at the top than at the bottom, and the base and the body are so connected that the latter loses itself in the former.
I claim- The design for a bakingpan, substantially 35 as herein shown and described.
GEO. B. GIFFORD. Witn esses:
