To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HO'WARD A. RUNKLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Reading, in the county of Berks, State of Pennsylvania, have invented a. new and original Design for Drip-Oups, of which the following is a specification.
The drawing shows my design of drip-cup, and in dotted lines indicates its appearance when applied to an umbrella-stick. The main portion 13 is of globular or egg-shaped form and is provided with a flaring top or collar 1) at the larger upper end and with a band or sleeve 1) at the smaller lower end. The cup is provided with ornamental ribs b, which are arranged to correspond in number as well as direction with the ribs of the umbrellato which it is attached.
The main features of the design are the globular or egg-shaped cup with fiaringcollar 20 and longitudinal ribs thereon, forming, as it were, extensions of the umbrella-ribs.
What I claim is- The design for a drip-cup for umbrellas, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
