UNITED STATES PATENT OEEICE.
JAMES M. VINTERINGER, OF ALLEGHENY, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A HALL-RACK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,282, dated January 5, 1892.
Application filed December 3, 18 91. Serial No.413,941. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES M. WINTEEINGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Allegheny, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented or discovered a New and Original Design for Hall-Racks, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, which make part of this speciiication, Figure 1 is a front View thereof; Fig. 2, an end view, and Fig. 3 a section on the line m a; of Fig. 1.
The last-nained views-viz., Figs. Qand 3- are for the purpose of showing more clearly the outline and configuration of the parts.
In the base of the rack are two cupboards, the sliding fronts 1 1 for which have tWo diagonal cross-strips 2 2 placed thereon and the upper and lower sets of scored Wave-lines 3 3 and 4 4, and also at the intersection of the diagonal cross-strips the star 11.
The face of the rack proper consists of two duplicate side panels 5 5 and one large center panel. Each of the side panels has carving thereon, which is shown in the conventional designs at 6 6. The centerpanel is sub divided by raised strips 7 and 8 8 into four small panels 9 9. The strips 7 7 are more effective if carved, as seen at 10 10. At lthe intersection ofthe four strips is a star 11, and three similar stars 11 11 are spaced over each of the four panels 9 9.
The cornice consists of a central carved panel 12 and the two duplicate end panels 13 13, having raised strips thereon 14 14.
In Fig. 2 the panel 15 15 makes the door for hanging cupboards 1G 16.
The design for a hall-rack, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 27th day of November, A. D. 1891.
JAMES M. VVINTERINGER.
