DESIGN FOR A FINGER-RING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,740, dated May 19, 1891.
Application filed April 7, 1891. Serial No. 388,030. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD l. BEAoII, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark,in the countyof Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Finger-Rings; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Referring to the drawings, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in each figure where they occur, Figure 1 represents a plan, and Fig. 2 an elevation, of a finger-ring, showing my design, these views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate the same.
The leading feature of my design consists more particularly in the peculiar configuration of the seal portion of the ring, which presents the appearance of two coils a and 1) sub stantially parallel with one another and separated by a band a, the body of the ring presenting the appearance of a series of strands or wires (i lying laterally adjacent to one another and intersecting with said coils at each side, as clearly indicated in the drawings.
What I claim is The design for a finger-ring herein shown and described.
