DESIGN FOR A BADGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,189, dated July 2, 1889.
Application filed November 9, 1887. Serial No. 264,731. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH K. DAVISON, a, citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge, of which the following is a specification, referenee being had to the aeeompan ying drawing, forming part thereof.
The leading feat are of my design for a badge is a flag with stripes on the sides thereof.
In the drawing, A represents a ribbon, the main portion a of which consists of the representation. of an entire face of the flag of the United States of America, the stripes in the said flag extending from the top to the bottom of the ribbon. On the sides of the flag are stripes b, which are parallel with the stripesof the flag of the main portion a. At the bottom of the ribbon is a star 0.
I claim The design for a badge, consisting of a star and a ribbon, the latter having a main portion a, representing an entire face of the flag of the United States of America, and its sides comprising stripes parallel to the stripes of the flag,whieh latter stripes extend from top to bottom of the ribbon, substantially as shown.
