Term of patent 7' years (Cl. D45-4) Fig. 1 is a top plan view of a portion of an expansible chain for a bracelet or similar article showing my new design, with the links in contracted position;

Fig. 2 is a view similar to Fig. 1 but with the links in partially expanded position, portions of the conventional bottom links being visible between the top links and being shown in broken lines;

Fig. 3 is an enlarged-scale top plan view of one of the links shown in Fig. I;

Fig. 4 is an enlarged-scale side elevational view thereof;

Fig. 5 is a sectional view on line 55 of Fig. 3; and

Fig. 6 is a perspective view of one of the links shown in Fig. 1.

The essential feature of my new design resides in the chain formed of individual links which have generally rectangular outlines in plan and pairs of oppositely facing quarter-spherical depressions in outwardly facing adjacent relationship.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an expansible chain for a bracelet or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
