DESIGN FOR TRIMMING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,527, dated August 14, 1888. Application filed June 5, 1388. Serial No. 276,155. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that LVVILLIAM H. MAURER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for Trimming, of which the following is a specification.
My design is fully shown inthe accompanying photographic illustrations.
Figure 1 is a view of the complete design, and Fig. 2 is a View of the essential feature of the design separately illustrated.
The essential feature of the design is the band A, which is composed of spaced strips or bars a, b, and d, pillarsf, arehesf, intervening pillars g, and festoons g. The bar a is somewhat wider than the bars b and d, and forms a background forthearehes f, while the festoons g hang below the bar (I, the pillars, arches,and festoons being composed of loosely grouped or bunched loops, as fully shown in 20 the photographs.
The complete trimming has tassels B pendent from the band A.
I claim- The design for a trimming, substantially as 25 described, and as shown in and by the accompanying drawings.
