To all whom it may concern:

Be itknown that 1, CHARLES W. SWAPP, of the city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and pro duced a new and original Design for aPattcrn to be Inwrought in Two or Three liyIngrain and other Carpeting, in such colors as may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this speeifica tion conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpctwvcaving a clear understanding of the same, and is sufficient to enable such person to use my invention.

\Vhat Ielaim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for ingrain or other carpeting, consisting in the ornamentation shown in the photographic print accompanying this specilication.
