Term of patent 14 years (Cl. D61-1) To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Melville J. Carter, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Photographic Flash Unit, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof:

Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a photographic flash unit showing my new design.

Fig. 2 is a back elevational view of the same.

Fig. 3 is an elevational view showing the camera attachment side of the same.

Fig. 4 is an elevational View showing the side of the same opposite that shown in Fig. 3, and

Fig. 5 is a top plan view of the same with the camera attachment bracket partly broken away.

I claim: The ornamental design for a photographic flash unit, as shown.
