Be it known that 1, James E. Clarke, a citizen of the United States, residing at Long Beach, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Set of Playing Cards, of which the following is a specification, reference .being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Figures 1 through 9 are face views of the respective suits of a set of playing cards, showing my new design; I

Figure 10 is a view showing the appearance of the back faces of the cards.

I claim: The ornamental design for a set of playing cards, as shown.
