DESIGN FOR A LAMP-RESERVOIR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15,653, dated December 30, 1884.
A plication filed May 16, 1884'. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WOLCOTT A. HUEL, of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Lamp-Fixture, of which the following is a specification.
This design relates to hanginglampsi The accompanyingillustration is aperspective view of a lamp'fixture embodying my de- A designates the lamp reservoir case. It is in the shape of an oblate spheroid and has a bright smooth surface.
B designates a shade-holder.
G designates arms extending from the lampreservoir case to the shade-holder. At the lower ends the arms G extend in ornamental scrolls 0. Leaving the lamp-reservoir case A, they extend outward laterally, as at c, and then extend upwardly in sinuous curves to the shade-holder B. At their junction with the shade-holder rosette-like ornaments c are arranged. The upper ends of the arms constitute hooks o, resembling the hooks of a shepherd s crook.
What I claim as my design, and desire to secure by: Letters Patent, is
1. In a design for a lamp-fixture, the combination of a reservoir case, A, of oblate spheroidal shape, and havingasrnooth bright surface, and arms extending upwardly therefrom, substantially as shown and described.
2. In a design for a lamp fixture, a reservoir-case, A, arms 0, having the ornamental scroll c, lateral extension 0, rosette-like ornaments 0, and hook-like portions 0 substantially as shown and described.
3. The design for a lamp-fixture, comprising a lamp-reservoir case, A, a shade-holder, B, and arms G, shaped and ornamented substantially as shown and described.
