PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A KNITTING BAG OR THE LIKE Gerald Murphy, New York, N. Y., assignor to Mark Cross Company, New York, N. Y., a corporation of New York To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Gerald Murphy, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, county and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Knitting Bag or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 in the drawing is a perspective View of a knitting bag or the like,, showing my new de sign, and Fig. 2 is a similar view of the bag as it appears from the opposite side.

The characterizing features of the design reside in the bag of the proportions and configuration illustrated, comprising a bag of flexible material having a fiat circular bottom with a full rounded side wall rising therefrom and gathered in a necklportion terminating at the top in a widespread aring open mouth and a long Wide handle of fiat relatively stiff material secured flat against said mouth portion tending to hold the same in open expanded shape, said handle extending upwardl from said point of attachment and thence looped downwardly and secured at the lower end flat over the lower portion of the side wall, stifiening and holding the latter in outwardly rounded condition above the circular bottom.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a knitting bag or the like, substantially as shown and described.
