Incorporated, Oakville,
Conn., a corporation of Connecticut Application August 28, 1941, Serial No. 103,066
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Roy S. Sanford, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oakville, in the county of Litchfield and State of Connecticut, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Grab Bar or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a grab bar or similar article, showing my new design;
Fig. 2 is a front elevational view of the article shown in Fig. 1; and
Fig. 3 is a side elevational view of the article shown in Fig. 1.
The characterizing features of the grab bar or similar article reside in the provision of a pair of brackets offset horizontally and vertically from each other in a common plane with the respective major dimension of each bracket in the said common plane extending at substantially a right angle to the major dimension of the other, and a bar secured to and between said brackets having an arcuate portion lying in a plane outwardly from but substantially parallel to the common plane of said brackets with the respective ends of said arcuate portion extending substantially at right angles to the major dimension of the adjacent bracket and terminating in inwardly extending portions secured to the brackets, all as shown.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a grab bar or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
ROY S. SANFORD.
