Description
Dec. 19, 1939. F. M. LAMBERT 1365- 118,162 I ROLLED METAL BAR Filed Oct. 17, 1939 Patented Dec. 19, 11939 fUNlTED STATES Des. 118,162
PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A ROLLED METAL BAR Francis M. Lambert, Narberth, Pa.
Application October 17, 1939, Serial No. 87,704
Term of patent 14 years "0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Francis M. Lambert, being a citizen of the United States and a resident of Narberth, in the county .of Montgomery and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, have invented a new, original, and ornamental design for a Rolled Metal Banter which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which:
Figl is a perspective iew of one side of the rolled metal bar embodying my new design; and
Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the reverse side of the rolled metal bar.
The essential features of my design residein a rolled metal bar of the configuration shown, the same consisting of two intersecting flanges presenting two plane surfaces intersecting at right angles as viewed in Fig. 1." When viewed endwise as illustrated in both figures, the shape presents a thickened, or bulbous edge portion projecting inward'away from one of the two plane surfaces,
extending lengthwise and defining the edge of said plane surface. The shape also presents an intermediate enlarged rib portion likewise projecting away from the above-mentioned plane surface and parallel to the bulbous portion. On the side opposite the two intersecting plane surfaces above-mentioned, the intersection of the two flanges presents a rounded surface.
What I claim is:
The ornamental design for a rolled metal bar, substantially as shown and described.
FRANCIS M. LAMBERT.
