PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A CUP HOOK Jacob Strand, New York, N. Y.

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Jacob Strand, a citizen of the United States, residing in the Borough of Manhattan, city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Cup Hook, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the drawing Figure 1 is a side elevation of a hook showing my new design;

Fig. 2 is a front elevation thereof; and

Fig. 3 is a partial section on the line 33, Fig. 2, taken through the base portion of the hook, the main front portion of the hook being shown in elevation.

The characteristic features of the design are shown to reside in the leaf-like lobes struck-up in relief from the base of the hook and formed at their outer ends in sweeping curves which stop at the edge of the base; the smaller, struckup, kite-like features between the outer ends of such lobes, and formed with curves of less radius than the said curves of the lobes, which also stop at the edge of the base; and the small, more or less triangular shaped, features at the edge of the base which define the curves of the lobes and the kite-like features.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a cup hook, substantially as shown and described.
