Application April 4, 1938, Serial No. 76,261 Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Michael R. McDanal, a citizen of the United States, residing at Denver, in the county of Denver and State of'Colorado, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pair of Spectacles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In the drawing:
Fig. 1 is a front view of a pair of spectacles illustrating the new design.
Fig. 2 is plan view thereof.
Fig. 3 is a side view of the disclosure in Fig. 2.
Fig. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary detail view of the disclosure in Fig. 3.
The temples are shown in fragmentary condition in Figs. 2, 3, and 4 for convenience of illustration.
The characteristic features of my design reside in a channeled frame that extends from the upper outer corner portion of each lens, across the upper edge of the lens, and down along the inner edge of each lens and being fastened to the lens at a point below the point of connection of the outer end of the channeled frame with the outer edge portion of each lens; and with the outer end of each channeled frame being open to expose the outer side edge of the respective lens; and with the temple hinge member being connected toand extending rearwardly from the inner side of the outer end portion of each channeled frame.

The ornamental design for a pair of spectacles, as shown and described.
