PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A PLATE OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Application February 13, 1936, Serial No. 61,138

Term of patent 14 years Be it known that I, R. Guy Cowan, a citizen of the United States, residing at Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan view; and Figure 2 is a crosssectional view of a plate taken along line 2-2 of Figure 1 showing my design, it being understood that the ornamentation shown is continued throughout the rim of the plate,

The design consists in a plate or similar article having a narrow rim with the decoration shown incised in said narrow rim.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a plate or similar article substantially as shown and described.
