To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, AARON BRoW-ER, of the city of Rochester, in the State of New York, have invented lo' enable others skilled in the art to make and'use' my invention, I will describe its construction and operation.

`In a table-slide, A, I form a groove, B, of a Tsliape. when entered into, it will turn freely, and forms a Two of these slides, A and A', fig. 2, are joined together, so that the 1i: nge and the roller on the end of one will enter the groove in the other; this will hold them together. The slides can then be extended longitudinally until the roller C comes against the solid part of the slide, thus extending the slide tothe desired.

This forms a slide that is more easily moved than those in ,common use, as their guides are stationary. The roller moving around does not wear the wood in this arrangement. The roller C may be conical-shaped, and the `groove B made the same shape.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure -by Letters Patent, is-

An extension-slide, A, when provided with the groove' B and roller O, when constructed with or without a flange, as and forthe pnrposesot forth.
