Monnnm, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Bangor, in the county of Penobscot andrState of Maine, have invented new and useful Improvements in Bag-Ties, ot' which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to bag ties, and one of the principal objects of the same is to provide a simple device for holding the ends of a cord or string to be passed aroupd the mouth'of a bag, and torprovid'e means whereby one'endiot,` the stringmay be drawn to tighten thecoid around the bag and to hold the string at its adjusted position.
