To allwhom it may concern:
Be it known that I, THEODORE AMNELIUs, a. citizen of the United States, residing at South Framinghamfln the county of Middlesex and $tate of Massachusetts, have invented certam new and useful Im rovements 1n Propellers; and I do hereby eclare the following to be a full,-clear, and exact de scription of the invention, such aswill enable 'others skilled in the art to which it apperta ns to make and use the same.
TlllS invention relates to propellers, adapted for use wlth any approved craft moving in a fluid medium.
An object of the invention is to providea propeller having a-plurality of blades positroned forengagement with the fluid med1um and of. conformation to prevent the centrifugal discharge of the medium from the ends of the propeller blades A further ob ect of the invention is to provide a propeller having integral blades attached to a hub of improved construction. With these and other objects in view, the lnventlon comprises certain novel constructions, combinations and and claimed.

The hub section 15 is intended to be the first hub section upon the shaft 14 and is provided with a recess 18 positioned to receive the overhang 19 of the hub section 16, said hub section 16 being also provided with a recess 20 proportioned to receive the overhang 21 of the hub section 15.
Preferably the hub sections are provided for convenience with as many of such recesses and overhangs as the number of blades so that one of the overhangs is practically formed by the inner extremity of the blade faces. The sub-blades are, of course, as.

The recesses and overhangs of the hub sections 16 and 17 are the same essentially as the recesses and overhangs of the sections 15 and 16 and similarly dis osed.
As shown in Fig. 4 the ub sections are separated showin the recesses and overhangs while in Fig. 3 the hub sections are shown in engaging position and held in such position by the shaft. p
