My inventlon relates to improvements inv manifold sheets for baggage records, and the objects of my invention are to provide a sheet which may be used for a small or large number of entries, and which, when used for a small number may have the used portion detached, leaving the remainder capable of-being used again; and it -consists essentially of the improved construction hereinafter described in detail, in the ac'-, companying specification and drawings.

In the form of sheet shown in Fig.1, headings a and b are provided on each end of the sheet reversed in direction withsuitable rulings in between, and one or more forming a binding strip 9, which has perforations therein, through which the binding posts it and i of a. suitable'binder extend.

Along the inner edge of the binding strip score lines j are provided on both the originals, whereby when filled in,they may be attached. This leaves the binding stripg three times the thickness of the duplicating sheet, which is being bound. This gives a desired firmness to the edge of the sheets when they are being permanently placed on file, and enables them to be formed much more readily into a book.

This can be done without interfering at all with the efficiency of the system for making out large way bills, as then the bills will not be separated along the score lines.

The manifold. sheet consisting of the two originals and the duplicate inserted between, with the binding margin at the edge, to-

gether forms a sheet which affords great facilities for binding and does away with the necessity of printing the forms in books as at present done.

IVhile I have described with great particularityjof detail the invention herein, yet

it will be readily understood that changes may be made therein, within the scope of the appended claims without materially departing from the spirit of the invention. What I claim as my invention is y 1. A manifold form having reversed headings at opposite ends with a set of rulings extending from one heading to the other and having certain of the ruling lines adapted to serve for either heading.
