When it is desired to ,use struct a group of children the teacherllets down the gate, takes out the center and then closes the gate, sitting in the center of the table yin which position she is able 'to 'easily reach a very large lnumber of children, and 'when 'the entire surface of the table is desired the 'slides may be pulled out and the part 13 is put back, the gate closedand the table is complete/for any use that may be desired. It will he understood that such a table may be used for other purposes as well as for kindergarten work.
