To all whom it may concern: l

Be it known that we, GEORGE H. SNOW and GEORGE H. 00E, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Improvement in Toy-Guns; and we do hereby'declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, and the letters' of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of y the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in

Figure 1, a side View, Figure 2, a longitudinal central section, and in Figure 3, the ball detached from the barrel.

This invention is designed as a toy-gun for throwing -panying drawings.

A is a metallic tube, provided, for convenience, with a handle, B, surrounding it.-

C is an elastic or iexble hollow ball, attached to an open socket, D, the said socket D fitted so as to be slipped on tothe end of the tube A, as seen in fig. 2, or removed therefrom, as seen in iig. 3. lThis completes the construction.

The ball removed, as in g. 3, the article desired to be ejected is placed inthe tube, as at F, fig. 3; then the socket of the ball set on to the tube, asin iig. 2; then, holding the tube in one hand, strike the ball with a'quick b low, which willcollapse the ball, as seen in red, g. 2. The air being forced against the wad F, drives it through and ejvects it from the tube with great force.
