Having onus described the invention, what is claimed is- 1. A tubular Winding-core having annular recesses in the Vinner and outer faces thereof .at one end, the' inner recess extending farther into thecore than-the outer recess and the end of' said core being smooth and uiiinterrupted,` a sleeve fitted within the outer recess, means extending therethrough. and into the core for fastening the-sleeve upon the core, a sleeve the innerrecess and extending vbeyond the inner .edge-of the outer sleeve, a web connecting the-s A eeves and bearing upon the end of the coresaid`web having-a keyreceiving seat extending thereinto.
2. A reinforcinglatt'achment for winding# cores comprising inner and outer concentric sleeves having a connecting-web at one end, saidinner sleeve being longer than and projecting beyond one end of the outer sleeve, and saidweb having a key-receiving seat extending intoV the outer -face thereof and intersectiiig .the inner andV outer peripheries of the reinforcing attachment. 4 l
