Beit known that I, WILLIAM K. WILLIAMS,

The object of my present invention is to provide means whereby the joints between the front and end plates may be adjusted and kept tight, to providea more rigid structure, and to provide the device with various new and useful features, and it consists, in addition to the structure shown in said patent, of means for adjustin and holding the end stantially of a llexible tongue inserted in the groove of the back frame near `the bottom thereof a id a head` and Fig. 3', a horizontal section of the same.v

My improvement consists of the addition of a headless screw 6, inserted in a horizontal opening in the back 5 and engaging a iiexible strip 8, preferably of metal, inserted in the bottoni of the groove 9 and adapted to yieldu ingly engage the edge of the plate l to force the same toward the plate 2. 7 is a nut embedded in the bach .5, with which the screw engages. In a show-case, the combination of a front plate, an end plate having its front edge l in engagementwith the front plate, a back frame having a lgroove to receive the rear edge of the end plate, a 4flexible strip in the groove, and a screw in the back frame and engaging the said strip to force the same against the rear edge of the end plate.
