The object of my invention is to provide a y new and improved suit-hanger; and to this end my invention consists of a new and improved suit-hanger and in the construction and combination of parts, all as fully hereinafter described and particularly claimed.
In the accompanying drawings, which illustrate an application of my invention, Figure l is a side elevational View of a hanger constructed in accordance with my invention,
showing a portion of a pair of trousers supported therein; Fig. 2, a perspective view, and* Fig. 3 adetail view, of a portion of the device. Referring to the drawings, my suit-hanger, as illustrated and las preferred, `comprises a Vcurved bar or rod 4l, made of any suitablemafV terial, forming a coat-support of the ordinary form, and 2 a hook.
Attached to part 1 and extending downwardly therefrom are two similar bent rods 3. The bent rods each preferably consist of portions 5, 6, and 7 and form the movable and adjustable clampingjaws of the trousers-supporting part of my improved suithanger. Surrounding each of the bent rods 3 are two adjustable binding collars or rings 8.v These rings are adapted to freely slide along the rods and may be readily moved on the rods to permit the' rods to be moved away from each other for the purpose of inserting the lower ends of a pair or pairs of trousers, as 9, and also moved to bring the said portions together for 'the purpose ofA securely clamping the trousers between the clamping-jaws.
