.Be it known thatVWe,'ADAM-McMULLEN and JOHN H. ROC1'C,of Sterling, in the county 'of Whitesdes, and.
in the State'of Illinois, have. invented certain new and useful Improvements in Closed Homes-Tug and Breast- -Collar and do hereby decla-re that the following is a full` clear, and ex act description thereof, reference being,` had to the accompanying drawingsand to theletters of" reference markedrthcreo'n. In the ,annexed drawings, making'part of this specification, A-'represents c breast-collar which is made closed infront, and which is padded in the usual manner.,l This collar is provided with the usual neck-straps G and'J for supporting it.' C represents a brace, which is made of sheet metal, and coveredw'ith leather. This brace has a hole through it at euchcnd, by means of which itis riveted to the collar A.

Itvwiil be seen that bymeans of the arrangement herein described,.wefare enabled to make light breast-strap harness answer for double teams as .Well as single, and that the tugsV are enabled to accommodate themselves to the variousmovements ofthe 'whietrees and neck-yoke or pole of the vehicle. y
