IMPROVEMENT IN COULTER-HOLDER.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known'that I, JEFFERSON AUeHn, of Dayton, in the-county of Montgomery, in the State of Ohio, have invented a. new and improved Coulter-Holder; and I'do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact .description thereof', reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
The nature of my invention consists in casting tivo circular plates, the inner surfaces near the edges being serrated, one plate being attached toa plough-beam, the other having projections, between which rests the coulter or cutter the Whole being held together by a. holt; and thus "constructed, the cutter is adjustable to any i desired position.

The coulter-holder consists oi' two circular plates C of cast iron, the inner surfaces of which are serrated*` or have corresponding projections and cavities and the external plate has projections x, between which the coulter rests.
