Be it known that I, HOMER RAWSON, of Jericho, in the county of Chittenden, and State of'Veril-nont, have invented a new and improved Olli-Yoke; `and Ido hereby declare that the following is a full and Vexact descrip tion thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the Ie'tters of reference marked thereon.

To enable others skilled in the art; to make and use my invention, I Willproceed to' describe its construction and operation. I v A t 4 I I construct the yoke B in the usual manner, and add thereto the adjustable cap. A, which cap is'se'cured to the yoke by a Ihirrge,(}, or Vany other device substantially the same. the hinge allowing the cap to 'keep itself adjusted to a horizontal position when the yoke i's canted by reason of uneveuground or a hillside. The staple E is made and secured to the yoke B by any of the known modesfand is made .to work in the yoke, that it 'lnayA keep itself in a perpendicular position on uneven ground or hill-sides. The entire yoke is used in same nuuner that the ordinary yoke is used.

What I claim'as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-` Y The adjustable hinge C on the capvA, and the movable or adjustable staple E, in the centre of the yoke B, all for the Purpose as herein set forth.' e@ Y AHOMERl RAWSON..
