TO ALL WI-IOM IT MAY CNCERNz- Be it known that I, E. N. PORTER, of Morrisville, Lamoille county, State of Vermont, have invented new and useful improvements in Mop Squeezers; and do hereby declare the following to be an exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure l is a sectional view.

The nature of my invention consists in the jaws D, lever H, and treadle J, arranged and operated in combination with the movable platform B. I construct the mop squeezer separate from the pail, and not fastened to the pail; thejaws of the mop squeezer being attached to a movable platform, and the jaws formed of slats with spaces between the slats, operated by a treadle; the platform resting on casters, and the pail merely set Y on the platform so as to be easily moved across a room without requiring the lifting and moving of a heavy mop squeezer as commonly attached to the pail.

A represents the movable pail that contains water for dipping the mop in; B the platform, upon which the pail is placed; C the casters; D D the jaws or squeezei', that presses the mop, made of slats E E, one jaw being stationary and firmly attached to the uprights or standards G; the other jaw D being,f movable, and operated by the lever H and treadle J.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
