Be it known that I, 'JAMES FRYE, a .citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia, in the co nty of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have' invented certain new and useful Improvements in Shaving-Cups; and I do declare `the following to be a full, clear, and exaetdescription of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which y ro it appertains to make'and use the same, refer encebeinghad to the accompanyingdrawings, andto the letters of reference marked theree on, which form a part of this specification.
. My invention relates to new and useful improvements in shaving-cups, as fully described hereinafter and pointed `out in the claims hereunto annexed.

Having noW described my invention, what to secure by LettersPat- 1. A shaving-cu com risingr an outer re o u D ceptacle and an Inner receptacle, said Inner receptacle having a flanged top adapted to be detachably secured to the outer cup, an annular space formed between said cups `and adapted to be filled with Water, an inlet for air in the flanged portion of the inner cup and an outlet for water at the bottom of the inner cup, and a valve for regulating .the quantity of air admitted to the annular space, substantially as specified.
