IMPROVED- BUCKLE.
Specification forming part'of Letters Patent No. 48,610, dated July 4, 1865.

Bexit known that l, PEREGRINE WHITE, of
Y Dixmont Centre, in the county of Penobscot nying drawings, of which Figure 1 Isatop View, Fig.2 an end elevation,Fig. 3 a longitudinal section, and Fig. 42. front end elevation, of it.
In the said drawings, A denotes the frame of the buckle, which is an open loop,provided with across-bar, B. Over the said cross-bar there is arranged, between standards 8 8 projecting upward ,from the frame, an eccentric roller, O-that is, a roller having its shaft a or its journals eccentric relative to the axis of the roller.
