ERNEsT HUGO SCHMIDT AND HENRY FRIEDRICH CHRISTIAN BRAMMER, OF. DAVENPORT, IOWA.
COVER-FASTENING FOR CHURNS.
SPECIFICATION forming. part of Letters Patent No. 294,653, dated March 4,1884,
Application filed June 22, 1883.
To all whom it may concern: v
Be it known that we, ERNEsT HUGO SCHMIDT and HENRY F. O. BRAMMER, citizens of the United States, residing at Davenport, in the county of Scott and State of Iowa, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Oover-Fastenings for 'Ohurns; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as-will en able others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specifieation.
This invention has relation to cover-fastenings for churns; and it consists in the construction and arrangement of parts, as will be hereinafter described, and particularly pointed out in the claim.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a vertical section of a churn-vessel with our improved devices attached thereto. Fig. 2 is a detail view of one of the fastening devices,
and Fig. 3 is a detail view of one of the bearing-plates.
