This invention relates to portable receptacles used for carrying articles from place to place and more particularly to a knockdown carrier carton.

It is an object of the invention to provide a container or receptacle in the nature of a portable structure which may be readily assembled for use as a luggage carrier or a portable device for carrying bottle-s, jars, packages or other articles, or may be'used as a magazine rack in the homeo-r other desired location, or if for any reason it becomes desirable the device can be collapsed or knocked 6 Claims. A further object of the invention is to provide a device of the above character of few parts, of simple, inexpensive and durable construction as well as one easy to assemble or knock down.

The foregoing and other objects and advantages v of the invention will become readily apparent in view of the following description taken in conjunction with the drawings, wherein:

Referring to the drawing wherein like characters of'reference indicate like parts, the invention, as illustrated in the drawings, consists of only six individual members which when assembled form aportable carrier, or article receptacle or basket having a handle or handgrip by means of which the device may be transported, all of the members being of light weight and of simple configuration to enable the mostunskilled to assemble the device with minimum effort.
