Abstract

An electronic cigarette cartridge holder utilized in combination with an electronic cigarette cartridge from an electronic cigarette to hold the electronic cigarette cartridge while in use. The electronic cigarette cartridge holder includes a housing, a plurality of protrusions, and a plurality of prongs. The protrusions deform a silicon cover disposed on a connector of the electronic cigarette cartridge to break the silicon cover and allow exterior air to enter into a cartridge body to volatilize an e-liquid and act as a fulcrum against which the cartridge body to pivot to engage the silicon cover to break.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an electronic cigarette cartridge. More specifically, the present invention relates to an electronic cigarette cartridge holder.
  • Vaping has becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to smoking traditional cigarettes. Vaping is done with an electronic cigarette or an e-cigarette that also includes an electronic cigarette cartridge used in combination with the electronic cigarette.
  • People sometimes want to use the electronic cigarette cartridge alone without the electronic cigarette for stylistic or other reasons.
  • What is needed is an electronic cigarette cartridge holder that may be utilized in combination with an electronic cigarette cartridge from an electronic cigarette to hold the electronic cigarette cartridge while in use.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of electronic cigarette cartridge holders now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an electronic cigarette cartridge holder wherein the same may be utilized for providing convenience for the user when using an electronic cigarette cartridge holder.
  • The present system includes an electronic cigarette cartridge holder having a housing having an opening, a first end, and a second end, a plurality of protrusions disposed on an internal surface of the housing, and a plurality of prongs disposed on the housing.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself and manner in which it may be made and used may be better understood after a review of the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings wherein like numeral annotations are provided throughout.
  • FIG. 1 shows a front view of an electronic cigarette cartridge.
  • FIG. 2 shows a front view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder.
  • FIG. 3 shows an exploded overhead view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder and an electronic cigarette cartridge.
  • FIG. 4 shows a front view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder coupled to an electronic cigarette cartridge.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the electronic cigarette cartridge holder. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.
  • FIG. 1 shows a front view of an electronic cigarette cartridge 100.
  • The electronic cigarette cartridge 100 may include a mouthpiece 110, a cartridge body 120, a wick 130, a heating element 140, a connector 150, and a silicon cover 160.
  • The mouthpiece 110 may be adapted to put in a user's mouth to utilize the electronic cigarette cartridge 100. The cartridge body 120 may have a general cylindrical shape 120A that contains an e-liquid 122 or the like. The wick 130 may be disposed inside the cartridge body 120 and absorb the e-liquid 122 from the cartridge body 120 and transfer it to the heating element 140. The heating element 140 may be an atomizer (not shown), a heating coil (not shown), or the like that receives the e-liquid 122 from the cartridge body 120 and the wick 130 and vaporizes the e-liquid 122 when activated. The connector 150 may be connected to the battery or power source (both not shown) of an e-cigarette (not shown) to power the heating element 140 to vaporize the e-liquid 122. The silicon cover 160 may be disposed over the connector 150.
  • FIG. 2 shows a front view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200.
  • The electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 may include a housing 210, a plurality of protrusions 220, and a plurality of prongs 230.
  • The housing 210 may include an opening 212, a first end 210A and a second end 210B. The housing 210 may be adapted to receive a cartridge body (FIG. 1, 120 ) of the electronic cigarette cartridge 100 in the opening 212 of the housing 210 to contain the electronic cigarette cartridge (FIG. 1, 100 ) while using the electronic cigarette cartridge 100. The housing 210 may have an arcuate shape or the like.
  • The protrusions 220 may be disposed on an internal surface 210C of the housing 210, proximal to the first end 210A of the housing 210. The protrusions 220 may deform a silicon cover (FIG. 1, 160 ) disposed on the connector (FIG. 1, 150 ) to break the silicon cover 160 and allow exterior air to enter into the cartridge body 120 to volatilize the e-liquid (FIG. 1, 122 ). The protrusions 220 may also act as a fulcrum against which the cartridge body 120 may pivot to engage the silicon cover 160 to break. The protrusions 220 may be semispherical in shape or the like.
  • The prongs 230 may be disposed on the housing 210, proximal to the second end 210B of the housing 210 to secure the electronic cigarette cartridge 100 within the housing 210 of the electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200. The prongs 230 may include a pair of the prongs 230 or the like.
  • The electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 may be made of a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, rubber, silicon or the like.
  • FIG. 3 shows an exploded overhead view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 and an electronic cigarette cartridge 100.
  • FIG. 3 shows the relative size of the electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 and the electronic cigarette cartridge 100.
  • FIG. 4 shows a front view of an embodiment of an electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 coupled to an electronic cigarette cartridge 100.
  • FIG. 4 shows the electronic cigarette cartridge holder 200 coupled to the electronic cigarette cartridge 100, as previously discussed before.
  • It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in various embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
