Abstract

The present invention is directed to a method of making a product for the consumption of smokable substances. A conical wrapped paper is secured to a glass filter tip providing a containment for measured amounts of smokable substance. The method includes the use of organic paper applied adhesives which may have enjoyment enhanced substances entrained within.

Description

  • This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/283,703, filed Nov. 29, 2021.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Technical Field
  • The present invention is directed to a smoking products and method of making for the consumption of smokable substances in an integrated improved hollow component cone configuration.
  • Description of Prior Art
  • Such prior art smoking products typically have a paper cone shape with a cardboard tip that acts as a user’s engagement point and a filter preventing the transfer of large particles of the consumable material as it burns, such as tobacco and marijuana.
  • An advantage of an elongated cone containment wrapper is the ability to hold larger amounts of consumable materials thus lengthening the effective user’s engagement time and amount of product consumed as in products of combustion is inhaled by the smoker.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is directed to a product and method of making thereof for the consumption of consumable materials as it burns, tobacco and marijuana, as smokable substances. The hollow conical shape of the product allows for easy insertion of large amounts of smokable substance. The present invention comprises a first step of a sheet of flammable paper wrapped around a glass filter tip and itself forming an elongated extending cone with an open-end access. The method may include the step of filling the so formed cone on the filter tip of a premeasured amount of consumable smokable substance.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the assembled embodiment of the product for consumption of smokable substances.
  • FIG. 2 is an enlarged side elevational view with portions broken away thereof.
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the assembly step of the product for consumption of smokable substances.
  • FIG. 4 is a flow sheet illustrating the process steps provided by the invention.
  • FIG. 5 is a side elevational view of a prior art cone cigarette paper and cardboard tip.
  • FIG. 6 is an enlarged side elevational view of a prior art glass filter end tip used in the product of the invention.
  • FIG. 7 is an enlarged side elevated view of a modified prior art ceramic filter tip used in an alternate form of the invention.
  • FIG. 8 is a top plan view of a prior art flammable paper used in the assembly of the product of the invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-3 of the drawings, a cone shaped wrapper device 10 of the invention can be seen having an elongated conical main body member 11 and a glass filter end tip insert 12. The conical main body member 11 is formed from a flammable paper 11A associated and used in the formation of “hand rolled cigarettes” wherein loose tobacco is positioned on a sheet of cigarette paper and rolled around it sealing it forming a tradition hand rolled tobacco cigarette. Such hand rolled cigarette papers and method have been adapted by users of non-tobacco products for medical and entertainment use.
  • Prior art paper formed smoking cones 13, as seen in FIG. 5 of the drawings, use a cigarette paper 14 to form an elongated cone like body member 15 with a paper “cardboard” filter tip 16. While such premade paper cones 13 are well known and widely available, they have an inherent disadvantage relying on cardboard filter tips 16 which is just typically rolled cardboard.
  • The availability of nonporous glass filter end tips 12 as traditional holders of common hand rolled cigarettes, but are not available as an integrated cone wrapping as set forth in the present invention.
  • Referring now to FIG. 3 of the drawings, the construction method of the cone wrapped device 10 of the invention is illustrated wherein a sheet of wrapper paper 11A is positioned to be wrapped around a portion of the glass filter tip 18 of the invention.
  • The paper wrapper 11A may have an angled end cut 11B as seen in dotted lines in FIG. 7 of the drawings to aid in the cone shaped wrap.
  • The wrapper paper 11A has an organic adhesive band 19 indicated by dotted lines in FIGS. 1-3 of the drawings that extends first longitudinally at 19A and then at right angles 19B to better adhere to the glass filter tip 18 and then to itself as it is wrapped around forming the cone configuration. The adhesive is typically activated by moisture and will provide a sealing bond to itself and engage paper surface and the now partially enclosed wrapped glass filter tip 18.
  • The so formed wrapper paper 11A cone is filled with a premeasured amount of consumable substance which correspond to its determined size. The wrapper paper may also be so formed as a tubular configuration indicated by 11B in broken lines in FIG. 2 of the drawings
  • It will be seen that by preforming the cone wrapper device 10 of the invention will lend itself more easily to transport display and dispensing packaging, not shown, of various configurations that will maintain the integrity of the product while providing a safe secure and easily dispensing venue for use.
  • Referring now to FIGS. 1-3 of the drawings, the organic adhesive bands 19A and 19B may be formed to include performance enhancing compounds such as THC or CBD known in the industry. The formulation will be such that the embedded compounds are only released as vapors during combustion of the paper as the cone wrap 10 is smoked thereby improving the effectiveness of the materials smoked.
  • It will also be apparent from the above description that the glass filter tip 18 may be modified with a dual filter tip inclusion of an organic end portion 19 formed, in this example, of wood to enhance the engagement and flavor presence as seen in FIG. 6 of the drawings. Alternately, a modified ceramic filter tip 20, seen in FIG. 7 of the drawings, may be use.
  • It will thus be seen that a new and novel cone shaped wrapper device 10 for the consumption of nontobacco products has been illustrated and described and it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made therein without departing from the spirit of the invention. Therefore
