Abstract

Disposable hospital gown for the purpose of quick wear and quick removal without sacrificing the protection of harmful substances and contaminates for the provider/user.

Description

The intention of this invention is to keep a clinician safe while dealing with hazardous and infectious agents. It is used as personal protection equipment or PPE used when handling patients giving the provider biological protection and quick wear and disposal to quickly put on and take off during procedures, patient care scenarios and even the laboratory environment. The garment is sterile and repellent to liquids that can be emitted from a patient or specimen giving the personnel adequate protection while allowing quick wear and disposal and will also be economical for facility uses.
The schematics of this disposable gown is that it has an elastic neck and elastic wrist for wearer binding and ease of wear. At the neck of the gown's slightly perforated middle so the tearing will correspond to the perforation by the wearer and is pulled apart by a disposable zipper in this case it would be a stronger material than the gown itself that can withstand tearing and removal of the disposable zipper as it pulls apart the gown for disposal. The complete destruction of the gown also allows the gown to not be reused given its name a disposable gown. Moreover the design should be very conventional and is intended to allow the wearer quick and easy wear and removal while keeping the safety of the wearer constant.
Furthermore the gown is made of a fairly inexpensive fabric that creates a strong barrier against contaminates and has strong seams. The gown should be easy to tear apart with ones hands to dispose of in accordance to facility guidelines. The other materials used as components of this gown are also relatively inexpensive, such as the use of refined rubber for the neck and treading material such as cotton and polyester to keep the disposable gown together.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FEATURES

Referring to the figures, all figures represent different angles and states the gown is in. FIG. 1 is the front view of the gown when it is untied. FIG. 1-1 this refers to the body of the gown including the sleeves made of a material that protects the user from contaminates, FIG. 1-2 is the neck of the gown which by design acts as a catalyst to tear apart as the disposable zipper is pulled from top to bottom. FIG. 1-3 is the string attached to the back of the neck or attached altogether. FIG. 1-4 refers to the string material around the waste that altogether will allow the user to tie the gown's waste. FIG. 1-5 is the elastic material that envelops the user's hands when the gown is put on. FIG. 1-6 refers to the disposable zipper which can be made of any material easy to grip and pull in accordance to the gown which is manually pulled from. FIG. 1-7 of would be the material which is stronger than the gown itself with the help of precise perforation patterns will pull the gown apart where at the end of use will break apart FIG. 1-7 along the way down. It is important to state that FIG. 1-6 is the disposable zipper along with FIG. 1-7 and will work in conjunction in removing and disposing the gown.
FIG. 2 refers to the back of the gown where the gown is not tied up yet, its to show the opening the user uses to enter the gown. FIG. 2-8 shows the cut opening of the back of the gown which is slit during gown processing and its purpose is to make it easier to have the user's head fit similar to putting on a shirt.
FIG. 3 refers to the back of the gown when it is tied up.
FIG. 4 is a frontal view of destruction of the disposable gown after the zipper is removed the user simply pulls apart the gown from the neck given that the material will easily rip as the gown is pulled apart.

Claims

1. Invention consists of a disposable gown, where there is a body portion which typically reaches down to knee length typically past the provider's pelvis having two sleeves attached for both arms, moreover the sleeves of the gown are elastic at the wrist area to ensure a tight fit and to protect the user from any unwanted contaminates, the body portion having a front and a back when worn envelops the provider to protect from skin contact contaminates and a neck opening relative to the body portion; the body portion also consist of a perforated mid section where it tears down accordingly to the perforation to allow easy take off; a fastener consisting of two strings tied to the back of the gown that can tie at the waist to allow the user to fasten the waist of the gown to enable a tighter fit that is belted in the front of the pelvis to fasten the waste and also allow easier tear apart of the gown at the fastener's level.

The gown is durable and comes in different sizes to fit the individual who needs the protection of a fibrous material that envelops the persons body in order for protection during the duration of use when dealing with possible hazards. The neck of the gown is used to initiate a tear down of the gown with the perforation relatively. The neck area is also to be fastened by a string fabric to allow a seal around the neck. A disposable zipper is also at the neck portion of the gown and tears down according to perforation with a fabric or material that is sturdier than the material the gown is made of. The waste is kept up by a string comprising of fabric that keeps the gown tight for the comfort and safety of the user. At the end of each sleeve there are tubular elastic bands to keep the hands safe from contaminates, and also a sleeve grasp composing of a fabric that allows gloves to be worn over and allow coverage of the elastic bands to permit no skin from being exposed. By the mid waist area there is a pocket comprising of fabric to hold necessities to perform said procedures.
