- Field of Invention
- This invention relates to ventilating equipment such as air cooler and heater, in particular, to a movement mechanism adapted to be used as an air blower device, which is an integratable movement device for ventilating equipment, providing multi-directional air blowing ability and being able to be assembled and arranged flexibly.
- Description of Related Arts
- Various air conditioning equipments, such as air conditioners, electric fans, heaters, cooling fans, are commonly used in our daily lives. Among these devices, air conditioners use medium like refrigerant to absorb heat in the air during the cooling process, so as to cool the air for conditioning the temperature. Heaters such as warm air blowers and cooling fans increase or decrease room temperature by heating or cooling the intake air through their electric heating elements or cooling elements and then sending out. Ventilating equipments like heaters and cooling fans are commonly used because of their compact sizes, ease of moving, relatively lower costs, good performances in heating and cooling, and etc.
- A conventional heater or cooling fan usually includes a case containing heating or water cooling component, fan wheel component, temperature controlling component, and etc. The components of the conventional heater and cooling fan are made independently and then assembled in the case respectively that not only complicates the manufacturing process, but also results inefficiency in assemble and causes product quality issues. Besides, there is only one vent outlet provided at a front side of the conventional heaters and cooling fans for blowing out air directly here through the rotation of the fans of the air blower thereof that results in uneven air blowing and generating more noise.
- The objective of the present invention is to solve the above conventional drawbacks and to provide an integratable movement device for ventilating equipment that integrates heating and cooling components and blowing and exhaling components and is able to assemble flexibly to form various products, allowing multi-directional air blowing, simplification of the assembling, the increase of production efficiency of such ventilating equipments significantly, and a guarantee of the product quality of the integratable movement device for ventilation equipment of the present invention.
- In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention provides an integratable movement device for ventilating equipment, which includes an electric machine such as a motor and a fan wheel connected to the electric machine, characteristic in that the movement device further includes a housing, wherein the electric machine and the fan wheel are disposed in a lower portion in the housing which provides one or more venting outlets at an upper portion thereof. A venting outlet unit is provided at each of the venting outlets. An air chamber formed between each the venting outlet and the fan wheel in the housing defines a venting channel to allow air blown from the fan wheel to be buffered and evenly sent out through the venting outlet. The housing, having the one or more venting outlets and venting channels, the venting outlet units secured at the one or more venting outlets, and the electric machine and the fan wheel installed in the housing configure an integratable movement device that is able be directly assembled to produce a ventilating equipment.
- In one embodiment of the present invention, the movement device includes a housing, wherein an electric machine and a fan wheel are installed at a lower portion of the housing. An upper portion of the housing forms one or more venting outlets. A venting outlet unit is provided at each of the venting outlets. An air chamber formed between each the venting outlet and the fan wheel in the housing defines a venting channel to allow air blown from the fan wheel to be buffered and evenly sent out through the corresponding venting outlet. The lower portion of the housing, opposite to the fan wheel, provides a PCT heating component for configuring a heater movement device. The housing having the one or more venting outlets and venting channels, the venting outlet units secured at the one or more venting outlets, the electric machine and fan wheel installed in the housing, and the PCT heating component configure an integratable movement device that is able to be assembled directly to form a heater.
- In one embodiment of the present invention, the movement device includes a housing, wherein an electric machine and a fan wheel are installed at a lower portion of the housing. An upper portion of the housing forms one or more venting outlets. A venting outlet unit is provided at each of the venting outlets. An air chamber formed between each the venting outlet and the fan wheel in the housing defines a venting channel to allow air blown from the fan wheel to be buffered and evenly sent out through the corresponding venting outlet. The lower portion of the housing, opposite to the fan wheel, provides a cooling component for configuring a cooling fan movement device. The housing having the one or more venting outlets and venting channels, the venting outlet units secured at the one or more venting outlets, and the electric machine, the fan wheel and the cooling component secured in the housing, configure an integratable movement device that is able to be assembled directly to form a cooling fan.
- The housing comprises a pair of left shell and a right shell coupled together that upper end portions of the left shell and right shell provide a front vent hole, a left venting outlet unit mounting hole, and a right venting outlet unit mounting hole, and that lower end portions of the left shell and the right shell have a semicircular fan wheel site. Grid shaped venting inlets are provided on two sides of the fan wheel site on the left shell and the right shell.
- The venting outlet unit includes a front venting outlet unit and a side venting outlet unit, which are respectively provided at one or more venting outlets of the housing.
- The front side of the housing is provided with one of the venting outlets, where the front venting outlet unit is provided thereat. The more than one venting outlets are respectively provided at the front, left, and right sides of the housing. Side venting outlet units are respectively provided at the venting outlets.
- The front venting outlet unit includes a front vent hole and a guiding fin unit. The front vent hole is in rectangular shape and is integrally formed in the upper front side of the housing. The guiding fin unit has a plurality of fins installed intervally for air blowing direction adjustment. The guiding fin unit is provided at an outlet of the front vent hole.
- The side venting outlet unit includes a venting tube, a barrel, a guide fin body, and a ring shaped cover, wherein the barrel is moveably disposed in the venting tube. A front end of the barrel is turnably connected to the guiding fin body. The cover is secured in the front end of the venting tube. The side venting outlet units are respectively mounted in the left venting outlet unit mounting hole and the right venting outlet unit mounting hole of the housing.
- The PCT heating component includes a PCT heating body and a PCT heating body frame. The PCT heating body comprises a plurality of PCT heating element units. The PCT heating body frame is a rectangular frame which upper side has a plurality of connector terminal limiting grooves. The PCT heating element units are vertically installed in the PCT heating body frame, wherein each of the PCT heating element unit has a connector terminal provided at an end thereof. Each connector terminal protrudes from the respective connector terminal limiting groove provided in the PCT heating body frame. The PCT heating element units are connected to a power source with the connector terminals.
- The cooling component includes a container, an absorbing element, a lid, a tank, and a water tray, wherein the tank contains cool water and its water outlet is downwardly provided in the water tray. The container has two openings provided in two sides thereof. The absorbing element is disposed into the container and secured with the lid. The container containing the absorbing element is inserted into the water tray. The absorbing element absorbs water from the water tray for the fan wheel to inhale and form cool air to send out through the venting channel and the one or more venting outlets.
- The contributions of the present invention are that it effectively solved the problems of conventional ventilating equipment, including complicated production process, inefficient assembling, high product defective rate, and single blowing direction.
- The present invention integrates the heating component and/or cooling component and the blowing and exhaling elements into one piece, becomes a device that can be directly assembled to use as a heater device and/or cooling fan device, wherein a heater device can be assembled and made through just installing the movement device with the heating component or, alternatively, a cooling fan device can be assembled and made through simply installing the movement device with the cooling component, that is able to greatly simplify the assembling process, increase production efficiency of a heater device and/or cooling fan device, and guarantee the product quality of a heater device and/or cooling fan device.
- The movement device of the present invention is able to be flexibly assembled into different products like a heater device and a cooling fan device, and to produce air blowing in multiple directions from the front and sides thereof simultaneously, so as to effectively enhance the coverage of hot and/or cool air of a ventilating equipment, to increase the utilization of the ventilating equipment, and to strengthen the results of using the ventilating equipment.
- These and other objectives, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description, the accompanying drawings, and the appended claims.

FIG. 11 is a perspective view of a front side of a heater and cooling fan of the integratable integrated movement device of the present invention. - The following description is disclosed to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the present invention. Preferred embodiments are provided in the following description only as examples and modifications will be apparent to those skilled in the art. The general principles defined in the following description would be applied to other embodiments, alternatives, modifications, equivalents, and applications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
- As illustrated in the Figures as shown, the techniques, features, and embodiments of the present invention are herein described for further understanding the present invention.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 6 , an integratable movement device for ventilating equipment which is able to be assembled flexibly of the present invention is illustrated, which includes anelectric machine 10 such as a motor, afan wheel 20, ahousing 30 defining a ventingoutlet 40 and a ventingchannel 60, and a venting outlet unit 50, that can be directly assembled to form the movement device for immediately installation to use. The integratable movement device of the present invention may further comprise aPCT heating element 70 to be assembled to form a heater device. The integratable movement device of the present invention may further comprise acooling element 80 to be assembled to form a cooling fan device. The present invention is further described in following description in detail with the figures and embodiments. - Referring to what
FIGS. 4 to 7 , a first embodiment of the present invention is illustrated, wherein the integratable movement device comprises ahousing 30. Thehousing 30 includes shaped pair ofleft shell 31 andright shell 32 symmetrically constructed in shape, wherein theleft shell 31 and theright shell 32 are coupled into thehousing 30 with screws. - The
housing 30 has at least a ventingoutlet 40 integrally formed in an upper portion thereof. Thehousing 30 may have only one or ventingoutlet 40 or more than one ventingoutlets 40 provided therein. When there is only onevent outlet 40 provided, it is provided at the upper front portion of thehousing 30, wherein the venting outlet unit 50 comprises a frontventing outlet unit 51 provided at thefront venting outlet 40. When there are more than one ventingoutlets 40 provided, they can be provided in the front, left, and right sides of thehousing 30 respectively, wherein the venting outlet unit 50 comprises the frontventing outlet unit 51 and one or more side ventingoutlet units 52 provided at the front, left and right sides of thehousing 30 respectively. - A round left venting outlet
unit mounting hole 311 is provided adjacent a left portion of the ventingoutlet 40 provided at the upper end portion theleft shell 31. A round right venting outletunit mounting hole 321 is provided adjacent to a right portion of the ventingoutlet 40 provided at the upper end portion of theright shell 32. The left venting outletunit mounting hole 311 and the right venting outletunit mounting hole 321 are used for installing the side ventingoutlet units 52 respectively. - The upper front sides of the
left shell 31 andright shell 32 are coupled to form a rectangularfront vent hole 33, which is used for air blowing towards the front side of thehousing 30 and installing the frontventing outlet unit 51. A lower end portion of theleft shell 31 has a first semicircularfan wheel site 312 and a lower end portion of theright shell 32 has a second semicircularfan wheel site 322. The pair of first and second semicircular fan wheel sites is coupled to form a circular fan wheel site where thefan wheel 20, which is a centrifugal style fan wheel, is installed therein. The left and right sides of thefan wheel 20 have a left fan wheel cover 21 and a right fan wheel cover 22 respectively. The left fan wheel cover 21 and the right fan wheel cover 22 are respectively affixed on theleft shell 31 and theright shell 32 with screws. - The
fan wheel 20 and theelectric machine 10 are connected with each other, wherein thehousing 30 comprises anelectric machine stand 11 andelectric machine 10 is affixed on theelectric machine stand 11. - As illustrated in
FIG. 7 , at a left side of thefan wheel site 312, a first grid shaped ventinginlet 313 is formed in theleft shell 31, and at a right side of thefan wheel site 322, a second grid shaped ventinginlet 323 is formed in theright shell 32, wherein air enters thehousing 30 through the first and second grid shaped venting 313, 323. Referring toinlets FIGS. 4 to 7 , according to the first embodiment, the venting outlet unit 50 are installed at the three ventingoutlets 40 respectively, wherein the frontventing outlet unit 51 and the twoside venting outlets 52 are installed in thefront vent hole 33 provided at the front side of thehousing 30 and the left and right venting outlet 311, 321 provided at the left and right sides of theunit mounting holes housing 30 respectively. - Referring to
FIGS. 9 to 11 , the frontventing outlet unit 51 includes aframe 91 and aguide fin unit 511 secured on theframe 91. Thefront vent hole 33 is in rectangular shape and integrally formed at the upper front side of thehousing 30. Theguide fin unit 511 is turnably mounted on arectangular frame 91 at a position with respect to thefront vent hole 33 correspondingly in such a manner that theguide fin unit 511 is installed at an outlet of thefront vent hole 33, wherein the air blowing direction can be adjusted by turning theguide fin unit 511. - Referring to
FIG. 8 , the side ventingoutlet unit 52 includes a ventingtube 521, abarrel 522, aguide fin body 523, and a ring shapedcover 524. Thebarrel 522 is a cylinder body, which is movably disposed inside theround venting tube 521. A pair ofpivot holes 5221 is symmetrically formed in a front end portion of thebarrel 522. Theguide fin body 523 comprises a plurality of round shaped fins overlappedly and intervally connected with each other by means of one or more connecting members, wherein apivot shaft 5231 is provided at a side of each of the connecting member, and that theguide fin body 523 is turnably mounted to thebarrel 522 by turnably connecting thepivot shafts 5231 to the pivot holes 5221 respectively, so that the air blowing direction can thus be adjusted by turning theguide fin body 523. When theguide fin body 523 is turned, thebarrel 522 will be turned synchronizingly. Thecover 524 is affixed at the front end of the ventingtube 521. The two side ventingoutlet units 52 are respectively installed in the left venting outletunit mounting hole 311 and the right venting outletunit mounting hole 321 of the housing. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 7 , a ventingchannel 60 is defined in thehousing 30, wherein the ventingchannel 60 is a chamber in thehousing 30, extending from thefan wheel 20 upwardly to the ventingoutlet 40. The air blown by thefan wheel 20 will be buffered by the ventingchannel 60 and evenly sent out from the ventingoutlet 40 to produce soft and relaxing feelings. - During the operation of the integratable movement device of the present invention, the
electric machine 10 drives the turningfan wheel 20 to rotate centrifugally to inhale air through the grid shaped venting 313, 323 in theinlets housing 30, wherein the inhaled air is sent to the ventingchannel 60 and then delivered to the ventingoutlet 40 upwardly along the ventingchannel 60 so as to discharged into the room containing the integratable movement device through the one ormore venting outlets 40. The user may open all the ventingoutlets 40 or selectively open one ormore venting outlets 40, while the ventingoutlets 40 can be closed up simply by turning the guide fin unit 512 or guidefin body 523. - Therefore, the present invention has implemented buffered air through the venting
channel 60 and the multiple ventingoutlets 40 for various air blowing directions. - The integratable movement device of the present invention can be assembled flexibly according to the requirement of the buyers to integrate with a
PCT heating component 70 or acooling component 80 to assemble and form a heater movement device or a cooling fan movement device in handily and quickly manner. -
FIGS. 9 and 11 illustrate a heater device assembled from an integratable movement device according to one embodiment of the present invention. Referring toFIG. 9 , a lower portion of thehousing 30 contained aPCT heating component 70 which installed between thefan wheel 20 and the first grid shaped ventinginlet 313 provided in the lower portion of thehousing 30. ThePCT heating component 70, thehousing 30, the ventingoutlets 40 provided in thehousing 30, the ventingchannel 60, the venting outlet units 50 secured at each of the ventingoutlets 40, and theelectric machine 10 andfan wheel 20 secured in the housing constructed the integratable movement device being directly assembled into a heater device. - Referring to
FIG. 9 , thePCT heating element 70 includes aPCT heating body 71 and a PCTheating body frame 72. ThePCT heating body 71 comprises a plurality of PCT heating element units 711 connected together. The PCTheating body frame 72 is a rectangular frame arranged vertically that has a plurality of U-shaped connectorterminal limiting grooves 721 is provided in an upper side of the rectangular frame. The PCT heating element units 711 are vertically installed in the PCTheating body frame 72, wherein each of the PCT heating element units 711 has aconnector terminal 712 provided at an end thereof. Each of theconnector terminals 712 is protruded from the connectorterminal limit groove 721 in the PCTheating body frame 72 to connect to a power source. The PCTheating body frame 72 is affixed on an outer side of the grid shaped ventinginlet 313 on thehousing 30 with screws. - Referring to
FIG. 8 , the heater movement device which is integrated with the PCT heating element is affixed in acase 90 which is constructed by connecting afront case 91 and arear case 92 in a usual way. The left and right sides of therear case 92 provided with a first and a 921, 922 which are positioned corresponding to the grid shaped ventingsecond venting inlets 313, 323 in theinlets housing 30 respectively, so as to assemble a heater device as shown inFIG. 9 , wherein the assembling process is easy and short that greatly increases the production efficiency of heater devices. - In one embodiment of the present invention as shown in
FIGS. 10 and 11 , the integratable movement device of the present invention integrates acooling component 80 to form an integratable cooling fan movement device that can be directly assembled into a cooling fan device. - Referring to
FIG. 9 , a lower portion of thehousing 30, opposite to thefan wheel 20, contains acooling component 80 that is able to be assembled to form a cooling fan movement device. Thecooling component 80 is installed between thefan wheel 20 and the ventinginlet 313 in the lower portion of thehousing 30. Thecooling element 80, themovement housing 30, the ventingoutlets 40 provided in thehousing 30, the ventingchannel 60, the venting outlet units 50 secured at each of the ventingoutlets 40 respectively, and theelectric machine 10 and thefan wheel 20 secured in thehousing 30 constructs an integratable cooling fan movement device that is able to be directly assembled into a cooling fan device. - Referring to
FIG. 10 , thecooling component 80 includes acontainer 81, an absorbingelement 82, alid 83, atank 84, and awater tray 85, wherein thetank 84 which has a water inlet and a water outlet contains cool water. The water inlet and the water outlet of thetank 84 are downwardly provided in thewater tray 85 and are able to fill water into thewater tray 85. The absorbingelement 82 is a common cooling fan absorbing sheet. Thecontainer 81 has openings at on two sides thereof. The absorbingelement 82 is disposed in thecontainer 81 and secured with thelid 83. Thecontainer 81 containing the absorbingelement 82 is inserted into thewater tray 85. The absorbingelement 82 absorbs water from thewater tray 85 for thefan wheel 20 to inhale and form cool air to send out through the ventingchannel 60 and the ventingoutlets 40. - One skilled in the art will understand that the embodiment of the present invention as shown in the drawings and described above is exemplary only and not intended to be limiting.
- It will thus be seen that the objects of the present invention have been fully and effectively accomplished. The embodiments have been shown and described for the purposes of illustrating the functional and structural principles of the present invention and is subject to change without departure from such principles. Therefore, this invention includes all modifications encompassed within the spirit and scope of the following claims.
