FIG. 3 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a right side view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new case device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 4 , the carrying case assembly 10 generally comprises acase 12. Anexterior wall 14 of thecase 12 has anouter side 16 extending between each of afront 18 and aback side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. Thefront side 18 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12 is open. Thecase 12 may insertably receive anelectronic device 22 so theelectronic device 22 is retained within thecase 12. Theelectronic device 22 may be a Smart Phone of any conventional design. - The
back side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12 has a strap opening 24 extending through each of an outer 26 and an inner 28 surface of theback side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. Each of a primary 30 and a secondary 32 side of a boundingedge 34 of thestrap opening 24 is positioned proximate to and is coextensive with an associated one of atop 36 and abottom 38 surface of theouter side 16 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. Each of a firstlateral side 40 and a secondlateral side 42 of thebounding edge 34 of thestrap opening 24 is positioned proximate to and is coextensive with an associated on of a first oblique 44 and a second 46 oblique surface of theouter side 16 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. - A
strap 48 is provided. Thestrap 48 has afirst end 50 and asecond end 52 and thestrap 48 is elongated between the first 50 and second 52 ends. Thestrap 48 has break 54 extending laterally across thestrap 48. Thebreak 54 defines afirst portion 56 and asecond portion 58 of thestrap 48. Moreover, thefirst portion 56 of thestrap 48 is slidably coupled to thesecond portion 58 of thestrap 48 so thestrap 48 has an adjustable length. - A pair of
pins 60 each extends laterally through an associated one of each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of thestrap 48. Each of the pair ofpins 60 engages an associated one of the first lateral 40 and second lateral 42 sides of the boundingedge 34 of the strap opening 24. Each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of thestrap 48 are positioned proximate to an associated one of the primary 30 and secondary 32 sides of the boundingedge 34 of the strap opening 24. Additionally, each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of thestrap 48 are coextensive with the associated one of each of the primary 30 and secondary 32 sides of the boundingedge 34 of the strap opening 24. - The
back side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12 has anaperture 61 extending through the outer 26 and inner 28 surfaces of theback side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. Theaperture 61 is positioned proximate an intersection of thetop surface 36 and the first oblique 44 surface of theouter side 16 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. Theaperture 61 allows access to theelectronic device 22. - The
strap 48 is positionable in a deployed position. Thefirst portion 56 of thestrap 48 is fully extended from thesecond portion 58 of thestrap 48. Additionally, thestrap 48 arches upwardly from theback side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. A user'shand 62 is positionable between thestrap 48 and thecase 12. Thestrap 48 retains thecase 12 on the user'shand 62. - The
strap 48 is positionable in a stored position. Thefirst portion 56 of thestrap 48 is fully inserted into thesecond portion 58 of thestrap 48. Thestrap 48 lies flat within the strap opening 24. An exposedsurface 64 of thestrap 48 is coextensive with theback side 20 of theexterior wall 14 of thecase 12. - In use, the
electronic device 22 is positioned within thecase 12. Thestrap 48 is positioned in the deployed position when theuser 66 wishes to utilize theelectronic device 22. Thestrap 48 prevents thecase 12 from being stolen while theuser 66 is utilizing theelectronic device 22. Theuser 66 positions thestrap 48 in the stored position when theuser 66 is finished using theelectronic device 22. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
