- A hat or cap usually provides full headgear that's used to cover an individual's head. The traditional hat or cap may be worn for protection, worn for ceremonial purposes, safety or as a fashion accessory. Certain professions such as police, firemen, military, athletes and other government officials use some specific caps or hats which may relate to certain aspects of their profession. The traditional cap is a form of headgear that includes a bill with a fitted covering that is placed directly on the head of the individual. The bill or brim extends forward and provides shading for the eyes of the individual. The conventional cap associated with a bill is usually shaped as a baseball cap, which includes many forms and styles. Sometimes the typical baseball-style cap is customized for a particular team or styled in a manner for a particular affiliation with a group or event. Further the traditional cap is also sold in various styles and consequently an individual may have several caps of several different styles.
- One drawback to having various styles, an individual may accumulate various caps which consequently need to be stored when not in use. Further one may need or desire to change various styles based upon desires, environment or conditions. Consequently it would be advantageous to have a convenient manner to decorate and customize a baseball cap with various styles as desired by the user.
