Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates generally to a gas stove, and more particularly to a burner base of a gas stove.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • A conventional burner of a gas stove consists of a burner base and a cover (single ring or dual ring). Typically, there are two types of the burner bases. One burner base includes a housing and two cone-like tubes connected to the housing. Such burner base provides gas and air mixed in the tubes and flowing to the cover for burning. This type of the burner base is the common burner base in the market. The tubes of the burner base are very long that take much space in the gas stove.
  • The second type of the burner base includes a housing and two tubes also. The housing is smaller than the housing of the first type of burner base and the tubes are common tubes. Such burner base is shorter to be incorporated in a thinner gas stove. Gas flows to the cover through the tubes and does not well mix with air prior to burning, so that the burning condition of the second type is worse than the first type. The thinner gas stove has smaller space to flow less air mixed with gas that is another reason why the second type gas type has poor burner condition.
  • In conclusion, both burner bases have drawbacks to be improved.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a burner base of a gas stove, which provides gas well mixed with air and takes less space in the gas stove.
  • According to the objective of the present invention, a burner base includes a base member, a gas tube and a nozzle. The burner base includes a base, a housing on the base with an opening at a top thereof, an indentation at a junction of the base and the housing, a hollow connection member on the housing, an output tube in the housing and communicated with the indentation. The housing has an output passageway therein, and the base has a gas passageway therein communicated with the indentation. The gas tube is connected to the connection member and communicated with the output passageway. The nozzle is connected to the gas passageway to jet gas to the output tube through the indentation. Gas is provided into the base member through the gas tub and the nozzle respectively and flows out via the output passageway and output tube respectively.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 are sectional views of a preferred embodiment of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 4 to FIG. 6 are sketch diagrams, showing the burner base of the present invention incorporated in a dual ring cover.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a burner base 10 of the preferred embodiment of the present invention mainly includes a base member 12, a gas tube 14 and a nozzle 16.
  • The base member 12 includes a base 22 and a housing 24 with an opening at a top thereof. The base member 12 further includes an indentation 26 at a junction of the base 22 and the housing 24 and a curved guiding portion 28 on a sidewall of the indentation 26. The base 22 includes a hollow seat 30 with an opening at a bottom thereof and an L-shaped input tube 32 in the seat 30. The input tube 32 has a gas passageway 34, an opening 36 at an end thereof opposite the indentation 26 and a ball 38 received in the opening 36. The housing 22 is a tubular member provided on a top of the base 22. A hollow connection member 40 is provided on a side of the housing 24. An output tube 42 is received in the housing 24 and communicated with the indentation 26. An output passageway 46 is formed in the housing 24 around output tube 42. The housing 24 includes a fixing member 48 and two coupling members 50, 52 thereon. The fixing member 48 has a bore 54, in which an electronic lighting device 56 is received. The coupling members 50, 52 are connected to a panel 58 of the gas stove to secure the base member 12 in the gas stove.
  • The gas tube 14 is the conventional tube of the first type burner base described in the background. The gas tube 14 is connected to the connection member 40 to provide gas into the housing 24.
  • The nozzle 16 is provided on an end of the input tube 32 communicated with the indentation 26.
  • A horse 60 is connected to the input tube 60 at the end with the ball 38 to provide gas to the nozzle 16 through the input tube 32, and the nozzle jets the gas to the out tube 42.
  • As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the burner bas 10 is incorporated in a burner cover 70.
  • The burner cover 70 is a conventional dual ring cover for the gas stove including an outer ring 72 and an inner ring 74. The outer ring 72 and the inner ring 74 are located above the housing 24 and the output tube 42. The output passageway 46 is aligned with the outer ring 72 and the output tube 42 is aligned with the inner ring 74. Therefore, gas flows through gas tube 14, and the output passageway 46 to the outer ring 72 of the burner cover 70, and through the hose 60, the gas passageway 34, and the output tube 42 to the inner ring 74 of the burner cover 70 for burning.
  • Gas is mixed with air in the indentation 26 when the nozzle 16 jets gas to the output tube 42 (the guiding portion 28 helps mixture of gas and air) that burns the inner ring 74 well. In addition, operator may reach the nozzle 16 through the indentation 26.
  • The characters of the present invention are:
  • The housing 24 of the base member 12 has the output tube 42 thereon communicated with the indentation 26 to have the output tube 42 and the output passageway 46 aligned with the inner ring 72 and the outer ring 64 of the burner cover 70 for burning. The hose 60 is located beside the gas tube that takes less space than the first type conventional burner base. The present invention provides gas well mixed with air to overcome the problem of the second type conventional burner base.
  • The burner base 10 of the present invention may be incorporated in the single ring burner cover (not shown) when the gas passageway is sealed and flows gas through the gas tube 14 and output passageway 46 only.
  • The burner base of the present invention provides a well mixture of gas and air to get a well burning condition and has a simple structure that take less space in the gas stove.
  • The description above is a few preferred embodiments of the present invention and the equivalence of the present invention is still in the scope of the claim of the present invention.
