Abstract
A cup with a cap provided with a grip includes a cup body, a cap threadably engaged and closed on the cup body, a grip formed on an upper surface of the cap, and a flexible sucking tube inserted through a hole formed at one end of the grip and extends deep enough in the interior of the cup body for sucking the content filled therein. When a user wants to drink the content in the cup body, the person can suck through the mouth end of the sucking tube, and if the sucking tube is not to used, the mouth end is inserted in the insert hole of the grip to let the cup body with the cap and the sucking tube carried manually by holding the grip, keeping the cup body with cap and the sucking tube in a hygienic condition.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to a cup with a cap, particularly to one having a cap provided with a grip, and a hole bored in the grip in one end for a sucking tube to extend through and in the interior of the cup body and an insert hole in the other end for a mouth end of the sucking tube to be bent and inserted therein. A user sucks the mouth end to drink the content in the interior of the cup body. When the sucking tube is not used, it can be bent along the grip with the mouth end of the sucking tube inserted in the insert hole to prevent the sucking tube and the content in the cup from polluted from exterior maters, and convenient for manually carrying the cup with the cap and the sucking tube together in a hygienic condition.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Conventional cups shown in
FIG. 1 generally have acup body 1 andcap 10 closed on thecup body 1, and a user takes thecap 10 off thecup body 1 for directly drinking the content of thecup body 1, or using a straw to drink. But the straw cannot let thecap 10 closed completely on thecup body 1, so dirty miscellaneous matters are apt to fly or float in thecup body 1, not hygienic. And theindependent cap 10 and thecup body 10 are not suitable for carrying out manually. - This invention has been devised to offer a cup with a cap provided with a grip for conveniently carrying out manually.
- The feature of the invention is a cap provided with a grip for manually holding to carry the cup body threadably combined with the cap, and moreover, a flexible sucking tube with a mouth end can be inserted through a hole provided in one end of the grip for sucking the content in the interior of the cup body, with an insert hole in the other end of the grip for the mouth end of the sucking tube to fit therein for hiding it for carrying manually the cup body with the cap and the sucking tube together.
- This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional cup with a cap; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a cup with a cap provided with a grip in the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the cup with the cap provided with a grip in the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a cup with the cap provided with a grip in the present invention; and, -
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view with a sucking tube with its mouth end inserted in an insert hole of the grip for carrying manually the cup in the present invention. - A preferred embodiment of a cup with a cap provided with a grip in the present invention, as shown in
FIGS. 2 and 4 , includes acup body 2, acap 3 and aflexible sucking tube 4 as main components combined together. - The
cup body 2 has a combiningmember 20 formed with male threads in an upper end. - The
cap 3 is to close on and threadably combine with thecup body 2, having a nearlysemicircular grip 30 diametrically formed on an upper surface, a receivingelongate recess 31 formed on an upper surface of thegrip 30, ahole 32 bored in one end of therecess 31 and aninsert hole 33 bored in the other end of therecess 31, a combiningmember 34 having female threads formed in an inner surface to engage with the male threads of the combiningmember 20 of thecup body 2 so thecap 3 may be stably combined with thecup body 2. - The
flexible sucking tube 4 is inserted through thehole 32 to extend deep enough in the interior of thecup body 2 for a user to suck and drink the content therein, having amouth end 40 extending out of thecup body 2. - In using, as shown in
FIGS. 4 and 5 , a drink is filled in the interior of thecup body 2, and thecap 3 with thegrip 30 is threadably combined with thecup body 2 by engaging the combiningmember 30 with the combiningmember 20 so thecap 3 is closed on thecup body 2. Then theflexile sucking tube 4 is inserted through thehole 32 of thegrip 30 deep enough in the interior of thecup body 2. Then a user can drink the content filled in thecup body 2 by sucking through themouth end 40 of thesucking tube 4. In case thesucking tube 4 is not used, the upper portion with themouth end 40 of thesucking tube 4 is bent in thereceiving recess 31 of thecap 3, with themouth end 40 inserted in theinsert hole 33 of thegrip 30 stably. Thus, thecup body 2 with thecap 3 and with the suckingtube 4 together can be carried manually, preventing exterior matters or floating miscellaneous dirty matters from falling or flowing into thecup body 2, keeping the content therein from polluted. - The invention has the following advantages as can bee seen from the foresaid description.
- 1. The
flexible sucking tube 4 enables a user to drink easily the content of thecup body 2, and thegrip 30 is conveniently used for manually carrying thecup body 2 together with both thecap 3 and thesucking tube 4. - 2. In case of not using the
sucking tube 4, itsmouth end 40 is possible to be kept inserted in theinsert hole 33 of thegrip 30, for directly holding thegrip 30 and carrying easily thecup body 2 with thecap 3 and thesucking tube 4, with the content and themouth end 40 also kept from polluted. - While the preferred embodiment has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
