Abstract
A multi-disc box with an RFID function includes a main body and an RFID tag. The main body has a base seat, and a cover body pivotally connecting to the base seat. The main body is used to accommodate at least one disc. The RFID tag with disc information of the at least one disc is installed inside the main body for managing the at least one disc. Whereby, the multi-disc box with RFID tag can not only be used to accommodate the at least one disc, but also to manage or quickly integrate the disc production process and the disc material flow, and prevent the disc production process from error-occurring.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a multi-disc box with an RFID function, and particularly relates to a multi-disc box including a main body and an RFID tag. The RFID tag is attached on or installed inside the main body.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- A multi-disc box manufactured by a regular disc factory is used to carry discs, in order to have at least one disc transported to its destination inside the multi-disc box. However, the regular multi-disc box has only a carrying function; it lacks the function of information management.
- In general, the management of the quantity of multi-disc boxes is conducted by manual counting, or by manually scanning the bar code on the multi-disc boxes with a scanning device. However, these methods not only allow mistakes to be made easily, but also require a lot of time to ascertain the quantity of discs held. Moreover, it is impossible to manage the disc production process and the disc material flow with a regular disc, and the regular disc cannot integrated the disc's information, so that production costs will be increased and manpower will be wasted.
- The present invention provides a multi-disc box with an RFID function. The multi-disc box includes a main body and an RFID tag. The RFID tag is attached on or installed inside the main body. The multi-disc box with RFID tag cannot only be used to accommodate the at least one disc, but also to manage or quickly integrate the disc production process and the disc material flow and to prevent the disc production process from error-occurring.
- One aspect of the invention is a multi-disc box with an RFID function. The multi-disc box includes a main body and an RFID tag. The main body has a base seat, and a cover body mating to the base seat. The main body is used to accommodate a plurality of discs. The RFID tag with the disc information of the discs is installed inside the main body for managing the discs.
- Another aspect of the invention is a multi-disc box with an RFID function. The multi-disc box includes a main body and an RFID tag. The main body has a base seat, and a cover body mating to the base seat. The main body is used to accommodate a plurality of discs. The RFID tag with the disc information of the discs is attached on the main body for managing the discs.
- It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description are exemplary, and are intended to provide further explanation of the invention as claimed. Other advantages and features of the invention will be apparent from the following description, drawings and claims.
- The various objectives and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing, in which:
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID function according to a first embodiment (an RFID is attached on a base seat) of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID function according to a second embodiment (an RFID is installed inside a base seat) of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 is an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID function according to a third embodiment (an RFID is attached on a cover body) of the present invention; and -
FIG. 4 is an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID function according to a fourth embodiment (an RFID is installed inside a cover body) of the present invention. -
FIGS. 1 and 2 show an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) function according to the first embodiment and the second embodiment of the present invention, respectively. The multi-disc box includes amain body 1 and anRFID tag 2. - The
main body 1 has abase seat 10, and acover body 11 pivotally connecting to thebase seat 10. Themain body 1 is used to accommodate a plurality ofdiscs 3. TheRFID tag 2 with disc information of thediscs 3 is installed inside themain body 1 for managing thediscs 3. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , theRFID tag 2 is attached on thebase seat 10 of themain body 1 by a sticking method or a printing method. Referring toFIG. 2 , theRFID tag 2 is installed inside thebase seat 10 of themain body 1 by an embedding method or an injection molding method. However, the above methods should not be used to restrict the present invention. -
FIGS. 3 and 4 show an exploded, perspective view of a multi-disc box with an RFID function according to a third embodiment and the fourth embodiment of the present invention, respectively. Referring toFIG. 3 , theRFID tag 2 is attached on thecover body 11 of themain body 1 by a sticking method or a printing method. Referring toFIG. 4 , theRFID tag 2 is installed inside thecover body 11 of themain body 1 by an embedding method or an injection molding method. However, the above methods should not be used to restrict the present invention. - Moreover, the disc information is convenient for a user to search for discs, put discs in order, and classify discs. The disc information comprises quantity of discs, disc marks, disc speed, +R/−R disc, R/RW disc, number of layers and sides (including single-layer single-side, dual-layers single-side, single-layer dual-sides, and dual-layers dual-sides) of disc, and disk capacity.
- A reader (not shown) is used to read the RFID, so as to obtain the disc's information. In order to use the reader in different ways (point scan or non-point scan) to obtain the disc information, the reader can be a PC, a portable computer or a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) according to the user's preference.
- In other words, the multi-disc box with RFID tag can not only be used to accommodate the at least one disc, but also to manage or quickly integrate the disc production process and the disc material flow, prevent the disc production process from error-occurring, and provide a burglarproof function for the multi-disc box.
- Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details thereof. Various substitutions and modifications have been suggested in the foregoing description, and others will occur to those of ordinary skill in the art. Therefore, all such substitutions and modifications are intended to be embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
