Abstract

Athletic shoes have evolved into a very desirable and trendy piece of clothing. They are available in many shapes, sizes, and colors. However, to date all shoe pieces and designs are fixed to the shoe. My technology will allow shoe colors and or designs to be changed daily and as easily as the rest of one's clothes while utilizing only one pair of shoes. Interchangeable pieces will be made useful just as different colored shoe strings are now available.

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention deals with enhancing the practicality of athletic shoes and the like. Prior to this invention if one wanted to change the trim color of their shoes their only option would be to buy new shoes of that color.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention eliminates the problem of purchasing complete new shoes in order to have another color and allows the owner to only get trim pieces of the color they desire. The use of Velcro will allow pieces of different colors or patters to be interchanged easily.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF DRAWING
  • The drawing is an example of a normal athletic shoe. The areas marked Velcro are one side of Velcro stitched to the shoe and the opposite side stitched to the part marked as removable piece. The shaded pieces marked as removable pieces are shown partially adjoined to the shoe and partially pulled away illustrating the ability to be attached or removed.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention initially takes an ordinary athletic shoe. Then, on the outside of the shoe where color or patterns are to be, one side of Velcro will be sewn. Next, pieces of the same size and shape of the sewn Velcro patches shall be cut from leather or fabric and the opposite side of Velcro shall be sewn to the piece. Once this is done, the opposite sides of Velcro can be placed together holding the desired piece of leather or fabric to the shoe. This allows pieces to be later removed and replaced by a newly desirable piece of leather or fabric with the opposite side of Velcro as is on the shoe sewn to it.

Claims (1)
