This invention relates to a novel package or packet of toilet articles.

A prime object of this invention is to provide a flat pocket size packet of a brush and comb combination.

Other objects of the invention will appear from the following detailed description of the invention, and as disclosed in the single sheet of drawing which is made a part of this application.

In the form of the invention or portion thereof, disclosed in Fig. 1 of the package article, numeral l designates a comb of substantially flat dimensions, made of any suitable material and provided with teeth 3, and adapted to be pivoted at 5 to a narrow brush holder 2 having bristles 4 consisting of some substantial brush material, and arranged in one or more rows as may be deemed desirable within the holder 2 in such a manner that when the comb l and brush 2 are folded together a fiat compact package article will be formed.

Figs. 5 and 6 represent other forms of brush and comb construction adapted for this package or packet invention. The brush in Fig. 5 calls for a narrow holder 6 having a bristle portion 1 extending therefrom, and constructed of material similar to that described for the article disclosed in Fig. l. The comb for cooperating with the form of brush 6, within the packet may be of any suitable type such as that disclosed at 3 in Fig. 3.

Fig. 4 discloses the flat, thin packet having the members thereof arranged in operative assembled form, wherein numeral 8 designates the packet covering made of any suitable, material and provided with a flap portion 9.

The form of the invention disclosed in Fig. 6 calls for a comparatively thin bar l0, made of a suitable pliable material adapted to have affixed thereto a plurality of bristles H for forming a brush portion. The bar I0 is bent or otherwise formed at [2 to provide a slot adapted to receive in operative and folded relationship the comb 5 base section l4 and teeth I5. The free ends of the bar ID are arranged in pivoted relationship to the comb portion l4 as at l3. The bristles II are aflixed to the bar ID in such a manner that when the bar I0 is bent into a U shape for forming a receiving slot, 2. portion of the bristles II will fall opposite and on each side thereof, as clearly disclosed in Fig. 7, thereby providing a brush of narrow dimensions having substantial and durable characteristics.

This invention provides a novel flat pocket size packet including a brush and comb combination as above described in detail.

It is to be understood that changes, variations and modifications may be made within the scope of the following claims without departing from the spirit of the invention.

The pocket comb and brush may be attached or unattached. The case may be opened or closed, and perforated if considered desirable, to allow for proper ventilation. The bristles in the brush may be arranged in one or more rows or otherwise.

What I claim is,

1. A brush arranged in pivoted relationship to a comb in such a manner that it may be easily removed from a packet cover, the brush comprising a bar member provided with bristles, the bar member being bent into the form of a U, thereby providing a slot for receiving the comb in folded relationship therein.

2. A narrow brush and comb combination arranged to be easily removed from a packet cover, the brush comprising a bar member provided with bristles, and bent into the form of a U, thereby providing a slot for receiving the comb in pivotal relationship therein, the bristles being arranged along one edge of the bar member in such a manner that a portion thereof will fall opposite and on each side of the slot, thereby providing a narrow and durable brush.
