Abstract
A multifunctional chest has a pair of lateral plates, a rear plate disposed between the lateral plates, a cover plate disposed between the lateral plates, a lower drawer disposed between the lateral plates, and a front plate disposed between the lateral plates. Each lateral plate has a longitudinal guide groove to receive the rear plate, an upper rail to receive the cover plate, a lower rail, and a plurality of sockets to receive a plurality of connection rods. The cover plate has a pair of racks to receive the upper drawer.
Description
- The present invention relates to a multifunctional chest. More particularly, the present invention relates to a multifunctional chest which is made of a plastics material.
- A conventional chest is often made of wood or metals. It is difficult to carry or detach a wooden chest or a metal chest.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional chest which is easily detached.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional chest which is easily assembled.
- Accordingly, a multifunctional chest comprises a front plate, a pair of lateral plates, a rear plate, an upper drawer, a lower drawer, and a cover plate. A plurality of connection rods are disposed between the lateral plates. The rear plate is disposed between the lateral plates. The cover plate is disposed between the lateral plates. The lower drawer is disposed between the lateral plates. The front plate is disposed between the lateral plates and above the lower drawer. Each of the lateral plates has a longitudinal guide groove to receive the rear plate, an upper rail to receive the cover plate, a lower rail, and a plurality of sockets to receive the connection rods. The cover plate has a pair of racks to receive the upper drawer. The lower drawer has a pair of rollers. Each of the rollers is inserted in the corresponding lower rail.

- Referring to FIGS.1 to 9A, a multifunctional chest comprises a
front plate 6, a pair oflateral plates 1, arear plate 3, anupper drawer 5, alower drawer 7, and acover plate 4. - A plurality of
connection rods 2 are disposed between thelateral plates 1. - The
rear plate 3 is disposed between thelateral plates 1. - The
cover plate 4 is disposed between thelateral plates 1. - The
lower drawer 7 is disposed between thelateral plates 1. - The
front plate 6 is disposed between thelateral plates 1 and above thelower drawer 7. - Each of the
lateral plates 1 has alongitudinal guide groove 13 to receive therear plate 3, anupper rail 10 to receive thecover plate 4, alower rail 12, and a plurality ofsockets 15 to receive theconnection rods 2. - The
cover plate 4 has a pair ofracks 40 to receive theupper drawer 5 and a plurality ofinner recesses 41. - The
lower drawer 7 has a pair of rollers 70. Each of the rollers 70 is inserted in the correspondinglower rail 12. - The
lower drawer 7 has a plurality of throughholes 71 in order to reduce a weight of thelower drawer 7. - Each of the
lateral plates 1 further has anopening 130 to receive therear plate 3. - Each of the
lateral plates 1 further has a plurality of protrudedbars 14 to receive a plurality ofseparation panels 8. - One of the
separation panels 8 has aslot 80 to receive a compact disk A. - The
rear plate 3 has at least aclick groove 30. - The
front plate 6 further has at least aclick recess 60 to match theclick groove 30 of therear plate 3. - A
crossbar 9 is inserted in theclick groove 30 of therear plate 3 and the click recess 60 of thefront plate 6. - A file B is supported by the
crossbar 9. - The
upper drawer 5 has aninner chamber 50. - Each of the the
connection rods 2 has a hexagonal cross-section. - The present invention has the following advantages. The
cover plate 4 and theupper drawer 5 can be opened together or separatively. Thelower drawer 7 has a plurality of throughholes 71 in order to reduce a weight of thelower drawer 7. - The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment but various modification thereof may be made. Furthermore, various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (5)
1. A multifunctional chest comprises:
a front plate, a pair of lateral plates, a rear plate, an upper drawer, a lower drawer, and a cover plate,
a plurality of connection rods disposed between the lateral plates,
the rear plate disposed between the lateral plates,
the cover plate disposed between the lateral plates,
the lower drawer disposed between the lateral plates,
the front plate disposed between the lateral plates and above the lower drawer,
each of the lateral plates having a longitudinal guide groove to receive the rear plate, an upper rail to receive the cover plate, a lower rail, and a plurality of sockets to receive the connection rods,
the cover plate having a pair of racks to receive the upper drawer,
the lower drawer having a pair of rollers, and
each of the rollers inserted in the corresponding lower rail.
2. The multifunctional chest as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the lower drawer has a plurality of through holes.
3. The multifunctional chest as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the lateral plates further has an opening to receive the rear plate.
4. The multifunctional chest as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the lateral plates further has a plurality of protruded bars to receive a plurality of separation panels.
5. The multifunctional chest as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rear plate has at least a click groove, the front plate further has at least a click recess to match the click groove of the rear plate, and a crossbar is inserted in the click groove of the rear plate and the click recess of the front plate.
