Abstract
An electric power generating device for a roller skate comprises a base with a plurality of wheels mounted on the bottom of the skate. One of the wheels is equipped with an axle sleeve, a magnetic ring, a barrel sleeve and a coil base at one side, and all of which are secured to the base of the skate with a wheel axle. The base has a fixture corresponding to the coil base and illumination devices. The axle sleeve comprises an axle therein and has an extension forming a locating axle sleeved by the magnetic ring. The coil base encloses coil connected with the illumination devices located underneath the base. The coil base is secured to the base of the skate, and the axle sleeve with the magnetic sleeve and the barrel axle is inserted through the center of the wheel, whereas the magnetic ring on the axle sleeve is corresponding to the coil of the coil base, the wheel axle is inserted through the wheel and the coil base in the base, thus when rolling the roller skate, the magnetic ring rotates with respect to the coil and generates electric power to light the illumination devices.
Description
- This invention relates to a roller skate, and more particularly, to a roller skate with capability of self-generating electric power.
- There are numerous roller skates on the market. One of which is equipped with a lighting device around a wheel. This device uses a magnetic ring and an inductive coil located in the center of the wheel axle to spin with each other in an opposite direction. This opposite spinning generates electric power, which was supplied to the lighting device to illuminate.
- Most of these roller skates use spinning of an inductive coil and a magnetic ring in an opposite direction to generate electricity and supply the electric power to the lighting device. However, due to the leading wire to transform electricity to the lighting device is limited to its wiring, therefore, all lighting devices are secured to the wheels, thus when skating the lighting devices to produce a colorful illumination effect, and the effect is only limited on the wheels, not other places.
- In view of this, the inventor has invented the present invention to provide a magnetic power generating device, which is easy to install and may be installed on any place of the roller skate.
- It is the primary object of the present invention to provide an electric power generating device for a roller skate, which is easy to install.
- It is the other object of the present invention to provide an electric power generating device for a roller skate, which is more attractive.
- It is a further object of the present invention to provide an electric power generating device for a roller skate, which is cost effectiveness.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is a view demonstrating usage of the present invention; and
- FIG. 4 is another view demonstrating usage of the present invention.
- A roller skate equipped with electricity power generator of the present invention comprises a
base 1 and a plurality ofwheels wheels 2 is equipped at one side with anaxle sleeve 3, amagnetic ring 4, abarrel sleeve 5 and acoil base 6, and all of which are secured to thebase 1 of the skate with awheel axle 7. - The
base 1 is secured to the bottom of askate body 13, and is formed with afixture 11 corresponding to thecoil base 6 at the connecting area of thewheel 2. Thebase 1 further comprisesillumination devices coil base 6. - The center of the
wheel 2 comprises anaxle 21 at one side thereof, and theaxle 21 comprises asleeve 211 at its center, the other side of the center of thewheel 2 is for insertion of theaxle sleeve 3. - The
axle sleeve 3 comprises anaxle 31 at the inside, and asleeve 311 is sleeved with theaxle 31, theaxle sleeve 3 has an extension forming a locatingaxle 32 thereat, which is sleeved with themagnetic ring 4. - The
coil base 6 encloses coil and extends a negative and a positive wires that are connected with theillumination devices - To assemble the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the coil is inserted into
coil base 6 to form an integral and secured to thefixture 11, then theaxle sleeve 3 is secured to one side of the center of thewheel 2 and themagnetic ring 4 is sleeved onto the locatingaxle 32 of theaxle sleeve 3, so that themagnetic ring 4 may spin along with thewheel 2. Furthermore, thebarrel axle 5 is inserted through theaxle sleeve 3, and theaxle sleeve 3 of thewheel 2 is sleeved through thecoil base 6, so that themagnetic ring 4 is located in the center of the coil of thecoil base 6. Finally, thewheel axle 7 is inserted through thewheel 2 and thecoil base 6, and is secured by afastener 71 to thebase 1 of the skate. - To roller the roller skate of the present invention, the
wheel 2 brings themagnetic ring 4 to spin with respect to the coil of thecoil base 6, thus thecoil base 6 generates electric power and provides electricity to theillumination devices - Further, the
skate body 13 may also be mounted withillumination devices coil base 6. Due to the same power generating principle, theillumination devices skate body 13 may simultaneously illuminate along with theillumination devices skate base 1.
