Abstract
A waterproof vehicle parking shade device includes a shade having a space for receiving and parking a vehicle, a bottom board mounted on a bottom of the shade, multiple inflatable strips mounted on a peripheral face of the shade and capable of supporting the entire shade after inflation, and a door plate secured on one end of the shade for closing and sealing the shade, to prevent water from entering the shade, thereby preventing the vehicle in the shade from being soaked in the water.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a waterproof vehicle parking shade device, and more particularly to a waterproof vehicle parking shade device that may prevent the vehicle in the shade from being soaked in the water.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional vehicle parking shade device in accordance with the prior art comprises a metallic support frame, and a canvas enclosed around the support frame. Thus, the vehicle parking shade device may receive a vehicle, thereby providing a shading effect. However, when the vehicle enters the vehicle parking shade device, the vehicle is easily scratched, depressed or worn due to unintentional collision or hit with the metallic support frame, thereby affecting the outer appearance of the vehicle. In addition, when the level of water at the parking site is very high, the water will enter the vehicle parking shade device, so that the vehicle will be soaked in the water.
- The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional vehicle parking shade device.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a waterproof vehicle parking shade device having a shade for receiving a vehicle, and a door plate secured on one end of the shade for closing and sealing the shade to prevent water from entering the shade, thereby preventing the vehicle in the shade from being soaked in the water.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a waterproof vehicle parking shade device, wherein the shade and the inflatable strips are made of resilient material, so that when the vehicle enters the shade, the vehicle will not be scratched, depressed or worn due to unintentional collision or hit, thereby efficiently protecting the outer appearance of the vehicle.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a waterproof vehicle parking shade device, wherein each of the inflatable strips may be fully deflated, so as to decrease the whole buoyancy of the shade and the vehicle in the shade, thereby preventing the vehicle and the shade from being inverted due to the accumulated water.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a waterproof vehicle parking shade device, comprising:
- a shade, made of waterproof soft material, and having a space for receiving and parking a vehicle;
- a bottom board, mounted on a bottom of the shade;
- multiple inflatable strips, mounted on a peripheral face of the shade, and capable of supporting the entire shade after inflation; and
- a door plate secured on one end of the shade, for closing and sealing the shade.
- Preferably, the door plate is combined with the shade by zippers.
- Preferably, the inflatable strips are arranged independently and are not communicated with each other.
- Preferably, the bottom board may be folded and expanded.
- Preferably, the bottom board has a distal end provided with an oblique plate,
- Preferably, the inflatable strips may be inflated by a inflation device, and may be deflated by a deflation device.
- Preferably, the waterproof vehicle parking shade device further comprises an one-way valve mounted on a periphery of the shade.
- Preferably, the shade is an enclosure having a first end formed with an opening, and a second end formed with a closed face, and the space is located between the opening and the closed face.
- Preferably, the bottom board has an upper board portion and a lower board portion, and the bottom of the shade is positioned and clamped between the upper board portion and the lower board portion of the bottom board.
- Preferably, each of the inflatable strips is integrally formed with the shade.
- Preferably, the shade has two side faces each provided with multiple upright inflatable strips, and has a top face provided with multiple horizontal inflatable strips, so that the shade may be fully expanded to have a rectangular shape after inflation.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the waterproof vehicle parking shade device taken along line2-2 as shown in FIG. 1;
- FIG. 3 is a schematic usage view of the waterproof vehicle parking shade device as shown in FIG. 1 in use;
- FIG. 4 is a front plan view of the waterproof vehicle parking shade device as shown in FIG. 3; and
- FIG. 5 is another schematic usage view of the waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- Referring to the drawings and initially to FIG. 1, a waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a
shade 11, abottom board 21, and multipleinflatable strips 31. - The
shade 11 is an enclosure made of soft material such as canvas, plastic cloth or the like. Theshade 11 has a first end formed with an opening 12, and a second end formed with a closedface 13. Theshade 11 is formed with aspace 14 between the opening 12 and the closedface 13 for receiving and parking a vehicle. - The opening12 of the
shade 11 has a periphery provided with azipper 15. Adoor plate 16 is matingly mounted on the opening 12 of theshade 11, and has a periphery provided with amating zipper 17 detachably engaged with thezipper 15 of the opening 12 of theshade 11, so that thedoor plate 16 may close and seal the opening 12 of theshade 11. - The
door plate 16 may be combined with theopening 12 of theshade 11 by thezipper 15 and themating zipper 17, or by other equivalent sealing and combining member, so that thedoor plate 16 may close and seal theopening 12 of theshade 11. - The
bottom board 21 is mounted on the bottom of theshade 11, and may be expanded by a plurality of plates. Thebottom board 21 has a distal end provided with anoblique plate 22. Provision of theoblique plate 22 may guide the vehicle to facilitate the vehicle entering theshade 11, and may cover thezipper 15, thereby preventing thezipper 15 from being broken by the vehicle. - As shown in FIG. 4, the
bottom board 21 has anupper board portion 23 and alower board portion 24. The bottom of theshade 11 is positioned and clamped between theupper board portion 23 and thelower board portion 24 of thebottom board 21. Thus, thebottom board 21 may be combined with theshade 11, and may also prevent the bottom of theshade 11 from being broken by the vehicle. - Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, each of the
inflatable strips 31 is secured on the peripheral face of theshade 11. Alternatively, each of theinflatable strips 31 is integrally formed with theshade 11. It is appreciated that, theinflatable strips 31 are arranged independently and are not communicated with each other. Theinflatable strips 31 may expand and support theshade 11 after inflation. - The
inflatable strips 31 may be inflated by ainflation device 32, and may be deflated by adeflation device 33. - As shown in FIG. 3, each of the
inflatable strips 31 is secured and rested on the peripheral face of theshade 11, so that theshade 11 may be fully expanded to have a semi-circular shape after inflation. - As shown in FIG. 5, the
shade 11 has two side faces each provided with multiple uprightinflatable strips 31, and has a top face provided with multiple horizontalinflatable strips 31, so that theshade 11 may be filly expanded to have a rectangular shape after inflation. - Thus, the
shade 11 may be fully expanded to have different shapes after inflation by changing the manner of arrangement of theinflatable strips 31. - When in use, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5, the vehicle may be received in the
space 14 of theshade 11, thereby providing a shading effect by theshade 11. It is appreciated that, theshade 11 and theinflatable strips 31 are made of resilient material, so that the vehicle will not be scratched, depressed or worn due to unintentional collision or hit, thereby efficiently protecting the outer appearance of the vehicle. - In addition, when the parking site is filled with water, the
door plate 16 may close and seal theopening 12 of theshade 11, so that the accumulated water will not enter theshade 11, thereby preventing the vehicle from being soaked in the accumulated water. - Further, each of the
inflatable strips 31 may be filly deflated, so as to decrease the whole buoyancy of theshade 11 and the vehicle in theshade 11, thereby preventing the vehicle and theshade 11 from being inverted due to the accumulated water. - When the
inflatable strips 31 are fully deflated, theshade 11 will be collapsed. Thus, an one-way valve 41 may be mounted on the periphery of theshade 11, so that the air contained in theshade 11 may be drained outward when theshade 11 is collapsed. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims (11)
1. A waterproof vehicle parking shade device, comprising:
a shade, made of waterproof soft material, and having a space for receiving and parking a vehicle;
a bottom board, mounted on a bottom of the shade;
multiple inflatable strips, mounted on a peripheral face of the shade, and capable of supporting the entire shade after inflation; and
a door plate secured on one end of the shade, for closing and sealing the shade.
2. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the door plate is combined with the shade by zippers.
3. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the inflatable strips are arranged independently and are not communicated with each other.
4. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the bottom board may be folded and expanded.
5. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the bottom board has a distal end provided with an oblique plate.
6. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the inflatable strips may be inflated by a inflation device, and may be deflated by a deflation device.
7. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , further comprising an one-way valve mounted on a periphery of the shade.
8. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the shade is an enclosure having a first end formed with an opening, and a second end formed with a closed face, and the space is located between the opening and the closed face.
9. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the bottom board has an upper board portion and a lower board portion, and the bottom of the shade is positioned and clamped between the upper board portion and the lower board portion of the bottom board.
10. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein each of the inflatable strips is integrally formed with the shade.
11. The waterproof vehicle parking shade device in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the shade has two side faces each provided with multiple upright inflatable strips, and has a top face provided with multiple horizontal inflatable strips, so that the shade may be fully expanded to have a rectangular shape after inflation.
