Be it known that l, JACOB TV. My present invention relates to a eouihined wardrobe, and ironing.;--maehine; and it eonsistsin the peeulia arrangement ol" part-s and details ot' eoustruel ion, as hereinatter first lnll y set forth a1 nl deserihed, and subsequently pointed out in the claims.

In the drawings heretofore mentioned, Fi gur( l is a front elevation of my improved coinbined wardrobe and ironing-maniline. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional elevation of the 4 ,ironing meehanism. The rollers Il L are hollow, the lower one being provided with a eentral cone, m, and the upper one with a .series of longitudinal passages, n, arranged eoneentrieally with the roller-pivot l. It is evident that, the power available for revolving the rollers bein g, in the present ease, foot-power, the said rollers niustbe geared to such a speed only that a lady engaged in op erating the in achine can readilyr perform the v goods, sueh as halnllierehiefs', enits, collars,

shawls, and sil'nilar articles which are not enibroidered, and it will be very advantageously employed in hotels for ironing` sheets and ta.- ble-linen, towels, &c.

For family use I have provided the stand with suitable drawers, so that the ironed goods may be at once stored away. f Then not in use the slides J and E arepushed in, when the machine will not oeeupy more Hoorspace than the common sewing-machine, unless a large capacit-y for t le wardrobe is a desideratuni; and rtlmworking parts Imay be protected by the folding top X, which, when properly adjusted, forms a peri'eet cover for the sind parts.
