In the closecleaning of grainj'as for seed pur- 5 poses, it is desirable to use an assembly pfaspira tors, screeningmechanisms and disc separators to effect complete Separation of .the good grain from thatwhich is undesirable and from foreign seedsand materials. It is also desirable to'prom vide in such a combinationfa smut treating device and a 'supplybin for maintaining a constant feed; together with meansrforconve'yingthe grain from one to another of the mechanisms successive- 1y, thus doing a complete job of cleaning and also of smut treating in one handling. an elevator and a conveyor arranged to receive grain at the rear of the machine and convey it up and over the suction screen machine to deliver the grain at the front of the machine onto the aspirating and screening mechanism, asecond elevator receiving grain'from the suction screen machine,;a disk grain. separatorin communication with the second elevator, a smut treating machine above said disk grain separa-- tor, a thirdelevator receiving grain from the separator for delivery to the smut treatingmachine, an eccentric shaft for actuatingthe suction screen machine extending transversely of the suction screen machine, a grain cleaner intermediate the length of said screens, 'meansto drive the cleaner and eccentric shaft and drive, means for the disk separator and smut, treating 7 machine actuated from said eccentric shaft.
